Jeremy personally I think it would be better to wait until closer to the deadline to decide. That way your know how many people are still in need of more time.

I second that. it is better to wait till we are near the deadline before a decision is taken to extend the deadline.
I for one wanted to submit M1A1 and SA6 for this campaign. My M1 has just been started. Still waiting for Cast a Coat. If things doesnt go as planned than I will be submiting only my SA6 for this campaign.
Keeping my fingers crossed for now. Waiting is painful

Fantastic job on the warrior so far Seb! Talk about getting the detail right. It seems like OOB kits are becoming extinct. Looking forward to your submissions.

I brought out my Academy Warrior MCV this evening. It will be built with a AA update set and finished as a Desert Storm vehicle. I have only one small problem... I got plenty of Warrior reference pics from Op Telic, but very few from Desert Storm. If anyone have some good links it would be much appriciated.

I just joined Armorama and this campaign. Would a Panzerhaubitze 2000 qualify? I have one nearing the painting stage.

This would be an interesting addition to the campaign thats for sure! Sorry yes it does qualify for the campaign. I dont seem to recall anyone else making a self-propelled howitzer so i would love to see your progress photos once they become available.
Welcome to the campaign!

I'm planning on building Tamiya's JGSDF Type 74.
Question: Is that allowed in this campaign?

sorry to hear about that but do think about coming back if you manage to free up some time. You really only need 2 - 3 weeks to make a decent kit.

Theres 3 more months to go in this campaign and i too am trying to get my kit done on time. Im not sure what youve got on your schedule but if you slowly build a small portion per day, you should be able to complete it on time.

Nope. Still says "[ENDS: May 31, 2006]".
I do have to correct my statement however, its 2 months if i do my maths correctly.

DOH! For some reason I went Dyslexic every time I looked at the date and thought it March the 31st it finished.
I'm now a very happy bunny as modelling time is very restricted at the moment and I was in a panic to get my Warrior finished in time. 2 extra months is great news!
I'm adding new shelves to my modelling area as I can't find anything anymore. If part of a model is put down on the bench it wanders off into the ether.
