Hey all,
First post in a LONG time and first chance I've had to work on anything.
Just enlisted and am working on the Revell 1/72 Abrams, OOB, just to get back in gear after not building anything for many, many months.

Hello Jazza,
I have been building my Merkava MK3 but had trouble with the tracks. They were a real pain to glue together for some reason but I have managed it now with epoxy glue and clamps.
I like it as a model to build but it came without the chains for some reason
Such is life. Too late to complain now. However, I love the tank, It's so unusual.
Will post pics later when I have finished the model.
Cheers all
Tony
forgot to say. Warlord. I like your T-55 especially the gun mantlet. Ver y realistic. Nice pics mate.

Hello everybody.
I have enlisted in this campaign and just started building M2A2 Bradley from Operation Desert Storm. I hope I will finish in time.
This will be my first campaign on Armorama and my first tracked vehicle.
Hi Tomek,
Welcome to the campaign! We currently have a very strong force of Bradleys in this campaign but certainly nothing wrong with having one more.
My only wish was that we could line them all up and take tons of photos on it.

Still working on my M2A0 Bradley.
Ran out of green paint and need to order more before I can really get back into things. I think I’m past most of the hard parts so when I get started it should be easy to finish.
I should be done by the deadline.

Well I got a good start on my S-tank early on but I haven't been able to get back to it for pretty much all of March. I hope to get some work done this weekend. Luckily it is a pretty simple build so I don't think I'll have a problem getting done by the deadline.

Here is my Merkava 3. I understand the model was of a pre-production tank so no bettle damage then!!
Nice kit but no chains.

A little more weathering to do perhaps.
Cheers all

Hi all
Unfortunately I am going to have to pull out as I still have a lot to do on my warrior (plus i am waiting for bisons iraq 2005 decal set to come out) and I am going back to boarding school in 3 days time . However when it is finished i will probably post some pics of it on armorama along with some in progress pictures. Good luck to the rest of you.
Nick :-)

Mate thats one heck of a beauty you got there. Great job on the merkava! I personally like it the way it is and wouldnt go overboard with the weathering. The merkavas are desert beasts so if anything, just add more dust over it.
Well done!

I believe it’s set to ends the last day of May.
Not positive if I’ll have my Bradley competed by then or not. I should get my paint in the mail Monday (according to there tracking system its sitting in a building about 20min from me but with the holiday weekend its not moving.) So I’ll be able to finish it.
Still have a lot of little extra stuff I’m planing on trying to do to it.

Finally got back at my AFV Club FV107 Scimitar- paint and decals almost done, weathering and tracks left to go. Haven't cracked the plastic on my Scorpion yet so this entry will probably just be the one vehicle, and on my very first attempt at a landscaped base.

Glad to here there is still some activity going on in this campaign.
I've truly been so blind but has anyone realised that THE Graeme Davidson (stormfront) is part of this campaign?? I dont know about you guys but its not often that im part of a campaign that includes modellers that publish popular modelling bibles that ends up on the bookshelves in our LHS.
:)

Looks like the abrams is coming along nicely. You sure 2 weekends is enough to fit all those PE and Resin parts you got in the background there? I have my doubts.

Hello everyone,
So it seems that i am going to have to pull out of this campaign (and all the other's i was in that end before june or so), as i managed to break a bone in my left hand yesterday and will be in a full forearm cast for the next 6 or 7 weeks!
I don't think i am going to have much luck with one handed modelling.
anyway, I'll be looking in on the campaigns with envy, so everyone keep up the good work!

BATUS Chally primed, a few small details to add, figgies mocked up and ready for paint, dio base - maybe not so much,
one never knows, should still make the deadline.
Cheers

Hi there folks!
Though I seem to be an older member of armorama, only recently I have been "exploring the depths" and just yesterday I figured out what "campaigns" were about.
Question I want to ask... Is it too late to enlist for the campaign? I would like to join with a Dragon T-80 with ERA, but I don't know if I can make it by the end of May. Problem is, I will lose two more weeks in May during which I will have to work in another city far from home.

Yoiks! I may just barely make it. Hopefully I will have time to finish painting my PzHb 2000 this weekend. I got stumped on the barrel shroud and finally had to perform some surgery to get that done.
