Tank looks real good. The chain and bucket look to big for the scale. I can't imagine how hard it would beto use a chin when the links are almost as big as my head. But the tank does look really good.

Hi Capt. Carl,

Thnx for you comments. I checked the chain and the bucket (It was from Tamiya JarCan Accs. Kit) thousand times before and after I finished my model. And after that I experienced with my Tiger I and parts didn't seem over scale. The checked the chain with Dragon's 1/35 figures and it fitted the figures' hand precisely.

I think Panzer II is very small kit and thats why these parts looks like over scale. Or it can be my camera's objective setups. Anyway thnx for your comments again

I think Panzer II is very small kit

Hi all!

I have finally finished my M1A1 AIM Abrams!

This is one of the very best kits I have ever built!

Lots of parts, outstanding quality, near-perfect fit troughout, etch and decals of top quality and a really low price!

I have had great fun during this build, even though I mostly build aircrafts!

Here´s some pics;

The trickiest part of the whole build was the bustle racks, to be folded from etch.
But I got some help from Christer J., who had the proper tools for this!
Thanks, Mate!

The result speaks for itself;

And with this I end my tail;

Thanks for running this Campaign, I have really enjoyed It as I love Desert Camouflage!

Cheers!

Hi guys! Thanks for all the support and interest in this campaign. It's been fun seeing you all build and finish atleast a single kit for this campaign. Ribbons to be placed on your virtual chests soon as the campaign ends.

Marcelo_Genu - Great, and a transmission also. Why don't you tell us about your build?

Phantom2 - It certainly did come out good. You have a build to be proud of there.

Ok, I finally managed to upload my pictures into the campaign gallery. This is the Tamiya Sdkfz 222 in 1/35 scale (though rumor is this is actually 1/32 scale). The decals were borrowed from the other Tamiya Sdkfz 222 kit, as this kit was built from its gutted remains when its original owner decided to use several parts as spares.

Comments: Easy to build with annoying molding holes (what did we call them, the circles where the plastic is injected), very thick decals, very simple interior. Can build it in a single weekend, but it will not be outstanding as it is very old.

Here are the pics:

In Homer Simpson's words: AAAIIIIEEEE! AAGGGGHHH!

I't going to come down to the wire for me. I've got my M1A2 about 95% done, but need to attach the stowage, add straps, and take pictures. I have to get cracking!!!

I'd humbly like to request a one or two day extension. I'm almost there, but not quite, and work has kept me from working on my Abrams this past week. What do you say, Ralph?

Hey guys! Be sure to upload it to the campaign gallery here so I won't forget who uploaded what.

I'm giving you chaps a one week extension for possible cleanup and upload to the folder. Campaign will end Friday night. Ribbon placing will be done by Saturday.

Thanks for the extension, Ralph! I'm getting my compressor serviced today and should be able to finish by Friday (especially since I get the 4th off for the holiday).
