Well, I finally finished the build. It took awhile but I finally got it done. I would like to thank all those who have supported me through my journey. The encouragement and information shared was worth every second. Thanks again everyone. So here is the finish build. BTW, I had to use certain equipment that was not Canadian simply becasue I did not have any. I will order those equipment later and replace them. For now, the ones added will have to do.

Congratulations with yet another outstanding model Charles. It looks very much like the ones I remember from A-stan.

What can I say Charles...outstanding!! I just love what you can do with a kit and Evergreen. Your attention to detail is amazing...the paint also came out sharp, what did you do for the vision blocks. Two questions...what’s the wire running along the side for and what's with the water bottle.

My guess would be for chem light during night ops. At least that is what we use it for.

Thank guys. The idea for the water bottle was taken from a pic of the internet. I had read the reason for this but unfortunately I cannot remember the reason for it. I'm waiting for Jason, Gino or Mike to step in and tell us
The vision blocks were done using LEE light filters, although any filter would do. I just cut to size and voila. I believe this method is more reaslitic.

Charles,
Canadian...not Cnadian
Very nice work on your LAV III...do you eat or sleep or work? How did you get it finished so fast?
The water bottle is used for carrying an IR glow stick for night operations.
The tow cable running along the left side should be thicker and braided like a regular tow cable.
The antenna should be taller...about a half of the height it is higher.
The cam net poles in the rack on the right and left sides should be dark green not black...darker than NATO green.
Did you purposely cover the headlights and front signal lights?
I must not have seen it before but your turret multi barrel grenade dischargers do not appear to the correct type. The LAV III does not use the same launchers as on the LAV 25....they use a quad set up of the Wegmann 76 mm MBGDs....the same type as on the Leopards.
Overall I think you did a fantastic job of the scratch building and conversion. You should be very proud.
Thanks for building something Canadian.

Thank you Jason for the comments. I did not realize the discharger's were not the same as the LAV 25. I must have missed it. Oh well. I'm still learning. BTW, is there a separate set one can buy?
I thought the cam net poles were black. That's how they looked in my reference shots. Anyway, thanks for letting me know. As for the cable on the side. You're right, I did not judge the dimensions correctly.
I purposely covered the headlights according to one LAV III reference photo I downloaded. The antennae wire length was a miscalculation.
As for the misspelled Canadian name, I noticed that and wanted to change it but couldn't. It didn't let me make the change.

There is no set for the MBGDs. You will have to use Leopard MBGDs and scratch build the mount.
Just joking about the spelling of Canadian..if you say Cnadian really fast it sounds the same.
You should consider adding a C9 Minimi or C6 to the turret MG mount.
Again, great work.

Thank you Jason. Again, may I ask what are C9 Minimi or C6? I apologies for my lack of knowledge.

C9 and C6 are machine guns.
C9- basically the same as the US M249
C6- MAG 58 or basically the same as the US M240.
Dragon makes a great M240.
Tamiya and Dragon makes the M249.
Don't worry about not knowing all the bits and pieces of the real vehicle. I never served a day on the LAV III but just have some basic knowledge of it from working on other AFVs.

DUDE !!! NICE JOB!!!
Can you guess what i'm in the middle of working on right now?, you guest it, the same LAV III you just finished, i started about a two months ago. I'm working on the Turret right now, I'm about 65 percent finished with contstruction all together. How long did it take, and what was the most difficult part of the conversion/scratchbuilding you encountered? Again dude, NICE JOB. Maybe the model companies will take notice on the type of models most of us modern armor guys are looking for.
