Recycling Your Old Kits

OK, kit done. Conclusion?
For each kit I built, I set myself a time limit. 5 days ( apprx. 20 hours ) were planned for construction of this one. It took me finally 3 weeks ( 50 hours ). Was it worth it?? I would say yes, because I like it the hard way, although I was sometimes close to Resign on it. A 90ies Henschel Tiger would have been a great help to give clarification on certain questions arising and if I do such a thing again I would lend me one from fellow modelers. Finally I saved Heinz some money for buying a new Kingtiger kit which would only have served for salvaging and he got rid of an old Jagdtiger kit. I am also sure, that nobody will note which lower hull had been used finally. I will do my Porsche conversion, the same way.

I could have done this conversion with a Nichimo hull too, but I have some other plans with these kits.
