Would it be allowed to enter a tank in partial white wash. Fx. green and white winter camo?

You can paint partial winter camo or really worn one. It doesn't have to be painted overall white.

Great! Then I am on for this one with a West German Leopard I in partial white wash.
Looking forward to the start of the campaign. But first my BT-42, BTR-80 and Sturmtiger for other campaigns

I have enlisted for this one too

Never done a white-wash before so this should be very interesting.

Hej Jan, Godt valg

Good choice on the kit. Especially since the crew is ready for some cold weather.

Looking forward to see it started when we reach the campaign start line

Does anybody else know what they're going to build, yet? I think I'll try something with Dragon's Battle of the Bulge Sherman and a knocked out King Tiger fighting on the edge of Bastogne. That might be a little too ambitous for only my second or third dio, though.

BTW, has a ribbon idea been submitted? We should also make a campaign banner for promotion, something like the banner for the "Rumble in the East Asian Sky" campaign that I have at the bottom of my post.

Just thinking....

I am planning on entering a Tamiya 1/35 Leopard 1 A4 that I have in my stash. I have seen some pretty cool pictures of these leopards with white wash over the green base colour. I think it will be cool.

Regarding the banner I think it is a good idea. When we get closer to the start date I can make a couple of banners people can put on their profiles.

I haven't created ribbon yet and to be honest don't have idea how it should look. I've been thinking about snow flake on some background, maybe you have more interesting ideas. I would wait with the contest for ribbon until official thread will be started (I plan to do so in September) so more participants could take part in it. I think there now it's too early for such topic.
As for banner, I haven't planned any but you may propose some projects.

Concerning bulding plans I probably enter the campaign with KV-1 or T-70.

Hi Marcin

I am working right now on 3-4 banners for this campaign. I will post them later today along with the necessary URL so people can add them to their profile if they feel like it.

Just a small idea for the campaign. A tank number on grey background with white wash around. The number could be German style....

Hi guys

Here are some banners that you can use to promote the campaign. It is probably a bit early to start promoting now, but under all circumstances some banners are ready. Hope you like them.

Now let me get this straight. If I want to do this campaign, all I ahve to do is build a kit and give ti a witer camo finish. But I also hahve to do the kit between October and March. Of course you also ahve to show opictures of the finished model.

Sonds sort of interesting. I was going to do a winter camo scheme on ym KV-1 anyway.

Here is what I have planned for my entry. I have had this kit sitting around for several years and I decided this campaign would be a good excuse to build it.

Looking forward to October.

I have a CMK Mobelwagen I'd like to enter -but it's already started. (The hull is glued together, and I removed all parts of the gun from the sprue. It's been standing like this since March.) I'd love it if it was acceptable, as I have a very good idea how I want to picture it. I've been toying with this since March, but didn't have the strength to go on. (The CMK parts are terrible.) So if this model is accepted, it would be a white-washed, deserted, frozen up vehicle.

Seems like the banners are working - some people already found their way to the campaign tread

@Randy: great choice of kit. The crew fits the campaign very well However, beware of the tracks. As you have probably already seen the they lack detail and can be a bit problematic to fit. This might not be a problem if you are going to "snow up" the suspension anyway.

You're right. That's all you have to do.

Jesper, your banners look great. I like the second and the third most.
I will have think over how to place the banner and my ribbons together

If you figure out how to place them together - please let me know. I have the same problem and unfortunently I do not think it can be solved

Thanks Jesper. I am hoping that it will turn out alright. I thought with the box art it looked like it should be perfect for this campaign.

Well............... I was checking out the kit that I was going to build and discovered that the tracks, front tires and windshield are missing from the kit. I got this kit in a trade a few years ago and didn't check it out when it arrived as I didn't think I needed to. So......................I will have to dig something else out and build it.

Oh well, such is life.

I've decided to do everything! I'm going to build my two Shermans and the King Tiger kit that i bought two years ago. I'm going to title it 'Tiger Hunt' I think. Try to have the Shermans get the mobility kill with the tracks and have some infantry from the 84th ID (my great uncle served with the Railsplitters) dropping grenades down the hatch. It will be set in the Ardennes; post Bastogne. I'll throw in some pictures of the kits soon. It will give me something to do during fall and winter breaks!

Great idea! I was thinking along those lines for my build, but it still wasn't as good as that.
