Campaign idea: winter - paint me white

Would you like to participate in campaign focused on winter camos?
Time frame could be October 1st - March 31st.
Rules:
Any vehicle from any era, any scale finished in winter camo
Dioramas are allowed

Let me know what you think about such campaing. You can also propose a new title.

Sounds great! Personally, my favorite dioramas are snow/winter themes.

Name sounds fine, too.

What about UN peacekeeping vehicles? they are painted white all year round...

Let's keep this thing going. It has the potential to become something. I'll probably participate if it's approved.

BTW, on second thought, the name "winter - paint me white" sounds a little too much like the current campaign entitled "Desert Fever - Paint me Yellow". How about something like "Washed in White".

Hmmmmm....interesting idea.....the nice thing is it will cover a lot of eras and nationalities...

@Mark: I think the idea is for the vehicle to "normally" be one color, but with "winter-time" upon them, they have to change the camo. The UN camo is very specific, and year-round....it set's them apart from "friend" and "foe."

For a name, as Samuel said "Washed in White," or......... "White-washed."

Yep, this one has some great potential. Any thoughts on a start and end date???

If i can find some motivation, I'll be in for this one. I have another Trump KV just begging for a winter scheme.. Might even try something different with this one... What it will be, I havent figured out yet...

I've been considering UN vehicles too, but I think campaing would be too wide. I think it's better to start special UN campaign than include Peace keeping forces to winter campaign.

So far there are 8 members (incuding me and Mark197205 who I assume is for). That's not enough to propose the campaign officially let us know what you think about this idea if haven't done it yet.

Include me, too. Now you got 9 who are willing. 1 more should not be problem.

I recommend another name like : "Winter time - Wash me white". We can emphasize the need for the winterwash on a regular vehicle, rather than a vehicle that is normally painted white, like a UN vehicle.

I think you should submit your idea now.

Great idea. I am all for it. There are plenty of kits to fit into this campaign in my stash. I imagine almost everybody with a minimal stash will have something to submit.

Count me in. I have a King Tiger and Bergpanzer just itching to be built. Not to mention a Sherman I could throw into the Ardennes... hmmm what to do?

I'm going to join, but before I do, I have a few questions...

1). Do all the tanks in a dio have to be whitewashed? For example, could I have the knocked out panzers in their original scheme and the Shermans in white?

2). Does my project have to be built from start to finish within the time between the campaign's start and end dates?

I still don't know what to build, so any ideas are welcome!
