Very nice! What was the base colour you used for this baby?

Once gain thanks for all of the wonderful comments. Matt I still need to add some tie down straps for the storage, I'm waiting on some MIG pigments I order so I can add the road dust, still need to paint the drivers view glass sides, and the final part is to seal it with some Dullcoat. The base color of the model is Testor Enamel Sand

Very brilliant work... All the subtle rusting and weathered effects makes this beast look war-torn and veteran...

Thats the best one in sand paint I have had the pleasure of looking at,
the wheels look great and the mass of stowage is great too.
Good work on the decals as well.

Looks great, Yufkey! I like it a lot. You may want to straighten out the first green roadwheel on the left side, it looks to be leaning out a bit too much (look at the fourth picture you posted).

Beautiful build Yufkey! I really like the stowage and the paint chipping/scratching. I'm just starting up a DML M1A2 and reading build logs like yours provide both big help and inspiration! One small thing, the bare metal on the green road wheels should be a goldish color.I'm not positive, but I think they're made of a titanium alloy. I do know from looking at the real thing that they are a pale gold color. The closest paint I could find is Model Masters Metalizer Burnt Exhaust.

I think it looks fantastic!..and your build has been a big help as I'm building one now. I'm new to armor and this is my first tank sooo..it's been an adventure and I would grade Dragons instructions a C+.. so with no experience their was some head scratching and your excellent photos have been REALLY helpful since I'm building mine similiar to yours, and I hope mine turns out 1/2 as nice as yours......
