Well guys??
What's it going to be?
'39-'41 or what?
I checked the rules, but that didn't help much...
If it's the first, I'm in with a old Frenchy.

It sounds like the details for the campaign rules have not been finalized as of yet. I will leave this one in the approved area since the start date is out a bit. If anything changes and we need to push the start date out some more, please let me know.

Thanks

Okay, I'm all up for this one. I really want to build a Panzer 35(t) but I can't find a 1/35 kit out there. Any recommendations? Thanks a bunch!

hello all,
Here we go.this campaign covers the early years of WW2,the invastion of Poland to the end of the Greek campaign.so everyone lets get our early tanks, vehicles or troops ready.
Matt, if we are allowing support troops, they have to have a vehicle with them ie:troops in a truck or APC.
I am looking forward to seeing what all the modelers can do with this campaign.i am going to do a Pz1 in combat in Norway.
Michael, Dragon has a Pz 35(t) smart kit.Great models web store might have some by other companies.
Please remember to have fun during this campaign, remember this is a hobby, not life or death.(we do model life or death)
cheers to all,
Bruce

allright then,
As I said before I will be joining this one with a Hotchkiss H35 and it's accompanying Canon de 25 modele 1934.
It's a real oldy and a subject that I normally don't build. I had it lying around and I will do it OOTB.
Wish me luck....

I enlisted and I am ready to blow the dust off of that Panzer I kit that I have had sitting on the shelf that I mentioned when this campaign idea was first discussed.

This should be a cool campaign.

hello Matt,
i am sorry for your loses.there is only one thing i know that has always helped me,Prayer.
they say that bad things come in 3's,so maybe the bad news is over.
I have asked a priest to remember you and your family in daily mass, hope it helps.

Hello Matt, hi Everybody,
I've just ordered few kits for this campaign. As soon as I receive them I'm joining this group-build (I will wait untill delivery - I don't want to sign in and then find out that I have nothing to build).
It seems that I'm first representative of blitzkrieged Poland in this forum so far .

By the way, I've seen questions concerning Soviet invasion - it took place September 17th '39 - timeframe matches the campaign rules, but I think that's up to Matt to decide if Soviet invasion is accepted. Blitzkrieg was German strategy and Soviet Union was not at war with Germany untill summer '42.

Matt, I'm sorry for your loses... I hope that you're Grandmother will get better soon!

hello Andrzej,
unless Matt over rides me,the Soviet invastion of Poland is o.k. for this campaign.so would be the invastion of of Finland by the Soviets.
it will be nice to see a Polish side for this campaign, there are a lot of Tanks used by Polish troops out there.
cheers,
Bruce

I want to build a diorama with TK-3 abandoned in the field (or on the side of a road) and few German soldiers escorting Polish POW officer. As soon as I get these kits I enlist.

hello Matt,
i thought we decided it was just Europe only.the next installment was going to be Africa, after the Blitzkrieg campaign was over.if we choose to include Afirca this campaign is going to be a "super campaign" and it will be hard to control.
remember this is your campaign so you must make this decision. my vote is a NO for a desert part for this campaign.
cheers,
Bruce

Bruce, I'm not sure if 7,5 was considered howitzer - I've seen few Pak models with that caliber.
I've seen few models of 10,5howitzers

http://www.mojehobby.pl/szczegoly.php?aukcja=&grupa_p=1&przedm=383153&grp=&f_pkt=

It costs about 35 USD. Maybe it will suit you well

Good God, Matt....

Looks like you are in the firingline, somehow...
You have my thoughts and try to keep your chin up! There will be light at the end of the tunnel!!

Take care!!
