Hi Bruce,
If you're looking for Vickers type A check this out:
http://www.jadarhobby.waw.pl/mirage-35303-vickers-p-1969.html?language=en&currency=USD - model by Mirage (I don't know them...) - 12,01 USD,
or
http://www.jadarhobby.waw.pl/35071-vickers-twin-turret-p-4156.html?language=en&currency=USD - RPM's model (I have TK-3 by RPM - it looks OK - I'll build it for this campaign) - 10,51 USD.
They have some AFM parts for these models in this shop. Hope it helps!

Looking forward to get started - although I do not know what to build yet. I will take a trip to the hobby store over the weekend to find something suitable.

See you all for the campaign kick off

Hi guys,

I'm thinking about a diorama with the French Armored Carrier UE, 1/35 scale, from Tamiya. A german or french crew, I have not made up my mind yet.

Cheers,
Christer

hello Desmond,
sounds great,i can't wait to see when it is done.there will be a campaign blog starting on March 31st.
cheers,
Bruce

Im really looking forward to this. Its my first campaign and I hope to do myself justice. Dragon PzIIIE with Lionroar fenders, Fruil tracks and sprockets, Karaya tow cables and the Dragon early war Pz crew.

There are some seasoned modellers in this one so the bar is raised quite high too but Im looking forward to it.

Will there be a link in here for the campaign blog? Never used on e before.

Christer, why do I have a feeling that you're going to cut this model in half?

Andrzej, you have a point !

I might "cut a few corners", here and there. There are a lot of corners that might distract the viewer. I can help them with my saw.

The carrier itself is little, but I can make it smaller!

Christer

Christer, I have no doubt that you and your saw will get to work on this one. Why not build one part with a French crew for this campaign and the other half for the "Ostfront" campaign later in the year with a German crew. Then you have two good excuses for building it both with French and German crew.

Under all circumstances, I am looking forward to see your next excellent diorama!

After a trip to the LHS I now know what I will build. The Tamiya reissued Sd.Kfz. 223 with PE. I will build it as a Gross Deutsland (GD) division vehicle from the invasion of Yugoslavia in April 1941.
The invasion of Yugoslavia was definently a true Blitzkrieg campaign that almost ended before it started My vehicle will be one of the GD vehicles racing to capture Belgrade before the SS "competitors". The SS won the race and captured the capital. I will probably show it crossing a small river on an improvised raft.

More to follow when the campaign gets started

Jesper, great choice, and fine model! I've build 223 in DAK version - very nice, small model. I liked building it!

Great to know. These small Tamiya models are rather good, despite their age. Looking forward to get started
