STEVE, They are both 251/1 Ausf C 's one is Dragon kit # 6187 and the other is an AFV Kit # 35078. They should both be interesting builds for me. I am also waiting for that Trump SD.kfz 7 to come out, I think that I read on here somewhere that will be around AUGUST .

I like the subject but isn't there an overload of campaigns already? Well maybe not yet in september, but I must watch not too join too many of 'em

Still a 75mm GMC was on my wish list for a long time already, maybe dragon released it by then

If I am not mistaken there are 9 campaigns right now, of which 2 are ending soon. So I don't see an overload.
And a halftrackscampaign would mean that there would be a large variety on the same type of vehicles, which would mean a large exchange of tips, hints, techniques and/or knowledge!

Sorry about my preaching.... halftracklover, you know...

And I will try to participate in this one and I will try to finish it too!!
Honest!!

I hope there isn't a load already around August or September? Most of the campaings are ending currently, the ones that are starting should be ending or be in midway around August I think.

I'm interested, too. (Btw why would it be bad if there were many different campaigns running? Isn't it the essence of the modern society? Having more choices than we could possibly use? )

But excuse my ignorance, what is the relevence of starting a campaign on this subject ?

I must be missing something, what is a campaign ?

Cheers

Hey all,

I just updated the Campaign Schedule (shows only approved Campaigns) HERE so you can check for potential dates. Right now, mid- to late-2008 start dates appear to be the best.

Mike

@Pete - a "Campaign" is where a bunch of builders build a model/diorama/et cetera following certain rules (vehicle types, eras, terrain, and the like). They're a blast!

TAZ want campaign! TAZ want August or September! (sorry, I just watched some Looney Toones, couldn't help myself, heh)

Mike, by mid-late 2008 which time frame are you referring to exactly? After July, in which Incoming II: Big Guns launches?

Yep, start date sometime in the August/September time-frame? April has two starting and May, June, and July each have one starting. There's this campaign and two others that are in the "Advanced"-Proposal/Awaiting Approval category.....if they start after July, it should give folks time to work on getting things together and perhaps participating in earlier Campaigns.

HTH.

Ok, I need a big favor.

As I was approving this campaign as well as SPIF, this one somehow disappeared from the campaign page. Not sure how it happened or if it will magically reappear later. If not, can the leader please re-sub it.

I know it is a pain and I apologize. I will also check to see if it can recovered as well.

Thanks again

Found the problem. Submission showed a start date in Sept 2009 and a end date in Feb 2008 (which has already passed) I changed it to 2009 ending and shows up fine now.

I am now officially reporting as second in command for this campaign.

I will start working on some banners and some ribbon suggestions during next week.

This is going to be a good campaign

Once again, Jesper brightens my day with some brilliant work!

I must really learn how to make banners from you.

Now, which one to choose?
