But then I don't really know about an answer.. That's all a matter of parasitic light that may come from above -if there is, then better close it to produce a more claustrophobic ambience just like your pictures show.. The picture before the ending one shows the "roof" of the boat which is actually a glass top, so if you want the people to be able to see your diorama from this angle, you have to close it.
yeah, "water without resin= genius" +1 I say! That's one of the things I like about your dios Domi, you don't think dios through a fat wallet
