It's also related to this rather alarming development:

I spewed my morning coffee and about fell out of my chair from laughing so hard. That is hilarious.
My boss (Master Sergeant) looked at me and asked "what is wrong with you?". I simply told him "you wouldn't understand MSG"...

Hi,
I have just one question - is the "Sock puppet free zone" some sort of IP checking or any other system that prevents this kind of forum behaviour or is it just our wishful thinking? Sock puppetiers are pain in the a#s on every forum and I've always thought that at least model makers are serious enough to discuss without support of alter-egos... .

No, just a gentle reminder that we don't welcome that kind of behaviour.

Jim, the only problem is that gentle reminders are for gentlemen... and no gentleman would play the sockpuppet anyway... Gentle reminders are usually too gentle for a#sholes using socks to enforce their point of view

I have a friend who has a legitimate and verry strong sock puppet phobia.
I should email that banner to her.
