John, excellent looking job on the zimmerit for the Brummbar. Very clean and factory applied zimmerit. Looking forward to see more.
I have now included my BM-13 Katusha in a Yom Kippur diorama. Some issues have already been pointed out in the diorama tread. More comments welcome. The direct link to the tread is below.

No progress. There were a lot of problems with my registration at the university and I had to run back and forth, leaving me no time and energy for modelling.
I will try to make progress tonight.

Well so far I,ve added the stowage some camm net at the front resin lens put on the weld seams with mister surfacer and added the six rivet or bolt heads either side.I,am now done the base coate sealed with clear floor polish and added the decals all ready to start the wheathering process. This is a good little kit for a quick build for me over the last couple of weekends

Keith,
Nice looking M8 you have there.
Did you use any AM stuff on it? If you did what did you use?
I have it in the stash and I want to do it as used by the French in IndoChina, having seen your photo I may well move it up the pile and get it under way.
Look forward to seeing the finished job.

Thanks for the comments guys and yes it will be getting dirty hope to put it in to an italian theme dio lots of dust from the moutain roads.
Robert the kit was a dream to go together no problems just a few corrections to do. Added weld seams to the side and rear pannels,rivetsx6 either side and replaced all the tie down cleats with fuse wire
David I did use some AM stuff but just for the stowage legends firefly stowage all the bedding rolls and packs gerry cans and other bits an pieces from the spares box.The camm net on the front is a mutton cloth i got from work ( borrowed ) and it has a verey loose weav and i added some strips of tissue paper to it.

Started to assemble the PZ 2000 like the other builders of this kit I find it somewhat daunting but with luck it should be a good build. However, I am not quite sure if I will complete it on time or on target but I will give it my best.
I do have one question regarding the metal barrel is there any special methods needed in painting it or is it just like the rest of the model?
Any assist in this would be greatly appreciated.

@ Jeff: Yup, it was and I couldn't resist...
@Randall:
I started mine sometime ago, but I'm a little behind with the project, I got the Eduard PE set, and the revell plastic is not very easy to work with.
The metal gun, usually I glue it with some kind of superglue and before painting I apply some Primer.

Randall, be sure to prime the metal barrel first. Otherwise paint will peel of rather easily, making lots of trouble.

Thanks for all the comments on my Syrian 1973 diorama. I really appreciate it.
Jeff, congratulations on the prizes on your Panzerwerfer 42. Well deserved.
Randall, as Emre points out a good primer is essential to keep model paints on the barrel later. Looking forward to see more as you get underway.
