Ok I found that the Legends Direction Sheet's are faulty. It tells you that in the shortest chain, you need to have two links and a brass ring for mounting, "this is rong". The brass ring will add one link to the lingth on your chain. If you eliminate one copper link and only use the one copper link and your one brass mounting ring you will have your two links.. See here I just got this idea from my own goof.

I also see if you look at real Mk.III chain links you can see how mini links to rows you may realy need.

I started on the side armor plates, an at the same time I started on the tank loader for the rear interior.

Once I get all that side plates on and the figure done. I'm going to stop work on the tracks, now I do have the "Legend Merkava III track set" but I'm not going to use them. I'm going to ordering the friulmodel track set.

Ok I got some cool paint for my anti-skid surface. I'm going to go over that mess of gray on the lower hull, so that I can use this stuff.

I feel this stuff has a nice texture to it.

I'm using liquid mask to cover up all the items that will no must not have that textured stuff on it.

hay Jaymes thanks for your comments, an about the interior as you see here in a Merkava rear cargo hold there's not much to see. An at that time I realy wanted to scratchbuild a turret interior but I didn't have the necessary informations and photos to back up my build. So I glued the turrets lower part in place. An so at the same time I have a photos of the rear of a Mk II, an as I have bean told that the Mk III and II are close in looks on in the rear interiors. I thought I would do the rear cargo hold interior, so I would have one interior done on my Mk.IIID Baz.

I want to take the project to a show some day and I feel that once the judges look in the rear with there flash lights they will see the tanker at work.
I'm going to build a base for this project. I realy don't know if I want to paint the tracks on the tank or off. Oh and you can see that I'm about the paint the anti-skid or textured paint on the turret.

Happy new years Cave man!

Great work and sweet tanker. One thing on the tanker doesn't his head sit a littly bit low on his body judging from the second photo or is it just me? You must be crazy with the 50cal kit bashed together! . Are you still going ahead with part of the interior?

Jaymes.

First Happy new year to you as well. Now about the soldiers head being to low. I Poped that shot from a low perspective. The head is bent forward from kneeling in a small space, an the flak jackets collar is high to protect the neck.

Question have you ever had to squat or kneel in a low place like a kitchen sink cabinet or under a low shelf in a closet? An could you keep your head strate up on your sholders.? Did you have to bean or cran your neck low so that you could fit? An what if some one came up from behind you and poped a photo?, Now you tell me wouldn't your neck head look a bit low, maybe out of place in the photo that is.
It's just your point of view "M8". I painted the gune that proped it up on the tank.

About that kit bashed 50, I wanted a specific looking gun. The kit's gun barrel was right but the body of the 50 and the Legend 50 didn't have the detail I wanted. So in looking over the parts after I cut up the 3 MGs, I put together the closest looking MG to the photos of one I have.

As the the side bag I have it painted but it was wet at the time I poped the photo.

I don't know if there is a different name for two types of gun barrels used on the 50 cal., but on most Merkavas I see one type the most it has a fluted gun barrel.

I do see some 50 cals have that barrel handel and some don't as you can see in the photos. It's the same with the commanders MG. Some have the spot light and some don't.
