I dont realy like that arm mount as it looks a bit old styled. Although it may be the correct mount for the age of the tank. I just like the newer mount. I have asked this on some othere forums an alot of guys like the one I have shown. So I guess I'm sticking with the one you all see. Thanks Mr. Carneau for your comments. I just started the paint job and I'll post photos soon.

Captian

The ammo boxes that you are claim to be Israeli one are not what you say, they are captured ammo as well the guns that are on the left sides of the box.

Yes "SabInga Martin" your right, I found that out on the Military forum site. Ok guys I had to fix one of the smoke grenade launchers and I added the bent antennas.

Now as for the (EWRS) unit as you see it my photo, is the way it will stay. I'm just going to cut it down a bit and add the cables (Wires).

amazing work, really well done. Just a little remark, you need to cut off any edge of any link of the tracks, this kind of track was used only in the first Mk3.
But the rest is FANTASTIC!!!!

Thanks guys () and () Oh you mean the Mekava Mk3 Block? Sorry I can't cut these tracks as the upper hull has bean glued down. I'm working on fixing the gap in front of the tank, combining the upper hull and lower hull's together. Not, on all Mk 3 hulls you can see there's no line between the two hulls. Now I ahould have noticed I should have made those 4 rectangular mounts longer on my build. An you allso can see that in the secend photo with the tow horns inplace that the mounts for these tow horns are closer to the top of the hull. Unlike the Mk.4.

Here's some gear I'm adding to my stowage bens and turret basket.

The figures "right from the box" is rong sorry for that. I used the Academy IDF Tank Crew set # 1380. I know my helmet microphones are a bit big and I can live with it. All I need now is to paint them.

I'm also working on adding my tow cables.

Later guys.

I know alot of you are sick of me adding things but I just can't help it. Some more add-ons.

I must put a little putty on it and smooth it out a bit.

I think I may go on and add those small side skirt chains.

Ok gus I done know if any of you remember but I built some type of "Protective cage" for the tanks periscope, but it has taken me over one year the get this thing built right. An why? you ask: With all these fuzzy photoimages online I could not get an image that would help me out, till I got my hand on some realy cool IDF armor (HC) books. SO for the guys out that that have the Legend kit and for those that build there own periscope of this type. I thought I would post photos of my protective cage, so some that may want to build it will have one to look at. First it in place on my tank.

Some things you need to know. The rear arms are thicker than the front arms. Here's some photos of the cage by it's self. first a top view.

A side view at and angle. It's looks that all the arms sit at an angle but that's rong. Only the two rear arms sit at an angle.

Here's a front view showing the thin front arms.

Here's a rear view showing the rear angled arms. Note: that there thicker!

Here's a view of the cage upside sown.

Now I know some of you may ask why didn't I give sizes of parts. I rebuilt my periscope becouse My Academy's stock periscope was that of the old Mk.3 Block style. An to get my tank's turret to resemble that of the Mk 3D I needed to update my periscope., but to give you the size of the lower ring. I use 11/32" Evergreen Tubbing, with 0.15 thick sheet for the front arms and 0.30 for the rear arms. An the top or roof and it's small side parts, were made of 0.15 sheet. I came up this the height by just guessing and staring at photos in my books.

I hope this helps some one

Ok guys here's some things that went rong!
In these photos of my turret I'll point out what went rong and what I could have worked a bit harder on. Ok in this first photo you see that the Armor was not built. This place should be higher like the rest of the turret top turret armor. (Red Dot's point thing's out).

Here there should have bean some hinge looking things.

This line should not be this long. Not that the upper side needed to be fill once again and sand smooth. (Witch I have fixed.)

Here I should have made more of an effort to make better looking detail than this mess. This Is realy poor detail on my part.

Here the "access panel" should be where the green dot is, an not the where the red dot is.

Now that I know of most of my big goof's, I can fix them on my next Mk 3D build. Oh and I do plan on building one more but with the newer turret armor for the Mk 3. Now On the 29th of this month, I will post photo's of my paint work and wearthering. So till them. Good day and good night.

Some more add on's, the tye downs. Made with 1/25th sparkplug wire, an painted over in fl-black.

I went over the tanker one last time, to try and give them the best look possible.

Next week I'll start the weathering, in this photo you can see that I have all the decals placed as well.

Thanks for looking guys.
