Hi John, I'm filling in the turret hole and sanding it flush. Another option is to put a sheet of plastic over the top and add a weld seam all around. Let me know what you work out!

I had a similar idea of the US built panther 2, but it is a German built T-34/88! It is 1947 and the allies and germans are stopping the russians who have not stopped after world war two! German Special Fallschirmjaeger have stolen the T-34 molds and plans from russia. The T-34/88 will have a fictional 88mm gun, extra armor, zimm and more. What do you guys think?

Sounds like a good idea Q.
You've got to be realistic about it though. If its going to go up against the likes of the IS series and Russia's brand new T-54s, it'll probably need more than just an 88mm gun. It'll also need a lot of extra armor to withstand not only the penetrating power of the T-54's 100mm gun, but the explosive power of the IS-3's 120mm gun as well (the D25-T gun of the IS-3 was designed to destroy bunkers).
For turret and gun ideas, I would honestly take a look at the T-34/100 (or T-100, I forget what its called).
Hope this helps ya mate

I think i might have a scenario for you guys to work from (with a nod to a old comic i used to read as a kid "2000 AD" and borrowing from Tom Clancy`s book "Red Storm Rising")
In 2012 Following the collapse of capitolism in the Former USSR,A new right wing form of communism comes to power. The new Volgan republic arises from the ashes and decides that to rebuild the the new state to it`s rightful place as the new ultra superpower,it will take what it needs from the west.
Immediate diplomatic moves in Berlin fail to appease the fledgling nation and after manufacturing a political incident the volgan`s declare war on Nato and the first units clash along the Polish border .............
Hopes this gets the creative juices flowing !!

Hey Guys
Have yawl decided on what we are going to build. Here is a sanareo for my Snow Tiger E-100 Super Tiger III. How many of you have seen the move CSA Confederate States of America? The sanareo is if the Confederacy had won the war. The Confederate States of America was an alia of Germany instead of England.
Just a Thought

Empty pens are good if you are't worried about accuracy or you're building something of the "what if" kind, but otherwise I would seriously consider just using the kit barrel. Pens are also made of a totally different plastic to kits, and so you'd have to use super glue.
By the way, hows that Super-T-34 idea coming along?

I'm kinda new to this stuff, but my understanding of it is that you have to wait until the starting date before you start building for the campeign. I mean, you can build kits whenever you feel like (we're not going to stop you from building kits all together until the campeign starts), but the kits you are going to submit for the campeign shouldn't be built before the campeign starts.
That may have been worded badly, but hopefully you will understand what I'm trying to say here

Well, I am thinking about joining as well, even have a great candidate for a scratchbuilding project. Google Tom Clancy's EndWar, or just head to http://endwargame.us.ubi.com/concept.php. Should I have money to burn, I'd build myself the King Spider, but I think a Rottweiler drone with a couple riflemen will be just as sexy. Or that Leopard-ish Euro tank.

Welcome aboard Eddy!
Personally I'd go for a variant of Trumpeter's E-25. It's a great kit with a fair number of extras and options. If you do get it, use the individual link tracks because the rubber band ones are awful.
And Marcin, that sounds like a good idea. The concept drawing of the Panther 1A3 tank is basically futuristic Merkava IV, so that should be fairly simple to replicate. The T-100 Ogre tank is my personal fav though.

Hi there Dean, tnx for the welcome. 2 be honest I already have build the E10, E-25( scratch & conversion) & a E-100 (scratch & conversion) Well the "25" and the "100" are still on the workbench. But yes you're right about the tracks, I put the rubber tracks on the E10 and, well ... It looks a bit unfinished I think. Maybe a set of Fruil-tracks 4 the campaign-E ? Yep, the Fruils are the way to go I say. Cutting out and assembling the individual links took me 3 days and was physically painful (I'm dead serious when I say that my shoulders have never been the same). And when I finished painting and glueing the tracks on, I put my glasses on and noticed the two ejector pin marks on every link!
By the way, you can add an automatically generating signature (like my "on the workbench" list) by clicking on the "my account" link at the top of the page, and then clicking on the "modify profile" link.

Thanks for the advice on the generating signature. It's all a bit new & strange 4 me, I just
entered the digital age And believe me it's like learning Latin ! But about the campaign:
what about a E-25 with some rockettubes on top ? Or an E-10ambulance ? Or ...

Well, I have a questions that is sort of stupid: What do we have this second tread concerning What ifs campaign for if the original one in the campaigns forum is available?
I've just found this one and I feel like missing some part of discussion...

By the way don't know if anyone knows about this but i have just been looking thew it and it has sparked some ideas

Hey Eddy, I reckon that if you really wanted to you could fit 2 Nebelwerfers on an E-25 without hacking at the E-25 too much.
You could put one on the roof using the small gun turret on the roof as a mounting point, and you could put one on the front Sturmtiger-style (i.e. with the rear of the launcher tubes going through a large ball-like mount and into the fighting compartment for easy reloading. Obviously there would be some sort of cover over the ends of the tubes so as to not fry the crew )

Hi Dean, I did some thinking about the Nebelwerfer on top of a "E". The fact is it wouldn't
be bombastic enough ! It's got 2 be bigger ... And guess what, just bought a Revell-sherman
carrying the "caliope"rockets ! Talk about being bombastic ! Another idea ? How about an "E-100" Borderpatrol up in Alasca ? Just in case the Russians should attack the USA
by crossing the Beringstraat. This would be an invitation for some intresting paintwork, don't
you think ?
