I know it's a repetition, but I'll say it anyway because there are no words for it: Stunning!
I'll have to see this in person some day! Hope you'll find a decent place in a museum!
Cheers

I have been very interested in this one since I first saw it a few months back. What kind of sand and plaster are you using sir?

Hi everyone, all
Thank you for your reactions, it's always nice to see that i'm still on the right track and have a trusty following.
@James
This question is best answered with a picture as i can not really explain what sort of sand it is
The plaster i used in this case is a slow drying cellulose plaster, one of many brands.
The plaster is replacing the glue in this mix and is also giving some volume to it, so it is basically not important what brand of plaster you use. It should be slow drying to allow for smoothing the whole thing after a few minutes with wet fingers. Real modeling plaster dries to fast.
I have this sand since a lot of years, so i don't know it's origin anymore, but it should have some granularity, otherwise it will mix with the plaster into some muddy mix without contrast.
The added sifting of some more sand over the fassade (while wet) ads to the granularity.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Thanks Jon!
So for once, here is a very new picture, still warm!
Over the last week i finished the building (painting, washing, pigments, doors, roof covers,...) Only the roof needs some more wheatering. I also layed about 60 cm of cobbles and fitted the also inside the tunnel. I filled the joints and painted the part under the tunnel, so that i finally could glue in place the house.
With selfhardening clay i am building a stone like border around the side path. Iwill do that tomorrow when the clay set a bit.
Now i have plenty of possibilities to continue, basically all around!
Thanks
Claude

hey Claude,
Ton travail est tout bonnement hallucinant !
Et quelle méthode, ça en devient industriel tout en restant artistique.
Mais où s'arretera t il ?

Hey CJ
Good to see some evidence of your efforts mon ami!
I'm constantly amazed at how your colour tones seem to look spot-on and compliment each other nicely. Lovely job on the walls, and special mention needs to be made of the roof tiling, which I know is so hard wearing on the patience and hands/fingers...
Great stuff
Brad
