in these there isnt much to show."work in progress" can be shown in 4 photos (and I'm sorry I didnt take any) the suspension bars take less than 5 minutes to install the whole set. the whole tank can be assembled in a night's worth of work. it takes longer just to paint it.
I can tell you this, it is "2 motor" wired remote controlled and runs nice.
My Panther "A" in 1/25 took 3 days just to do the zimmeritt using liquid glue and a razor knife. It took less time to assemble and I got a bronze at AMPS in Aberdeen a few years back
BTW I have never submitted any "W I P " photos before in any campaign, didnt know it was a requirement

I'll jump in if possible. I have the Accurate Armour Archer Tank Destroyer resin kit. I have not done a full resin model before, so this ought to be different for me.

Let me know if I can get in on this or if it is too late.

Hey all,
Thought I'ld share some inprogress shots of the Tamiya bazooka team. The figures have been primed and I started painting the flesh areas.

Some images of my Stryker M1134 ATGM
Really just need to add some stowage to complete....

Thanks for looking and all comments appreciated. Is there something stupid and obvious that I've missed?

I have one of the Tamiya SU-85's current under construction...... about 70% assembled and the painting has started. Am I too late to join??? I missed this campaign. Wasn't sure after the comment above about a photo log....... I would think it shouldn't matter at all ....... as long as we're sharing our work....... the more the merrier ....... that's the point isn't it????

I like snow. Allows me to work on Models. The "Fastest shrubbery of the north german plains" aka "Jaguar 1 Missile armed tank hunter(late version)" from Revell progressed from "box in the stash" to "check minor details and paint" over the weekend.
Pictures maybe at 11(pm)

Hi All,
I'm new to Armorama. I just found it today while looking for resources for the Sd Kfz 222. I recognized some people I know here and saw this interesting campaign.
This campaign should be more motivation for my Dragon 1/35 Jagdpanther, Late Production. I guess I'll need to start taking build photos of the project.

Here's my machine (I love it - so I couldn't resist the temptation to do one

).
The "Perfect Scale Modellbau" bits arrived this morning (great service & super fast postage - all the way to Australia)., I'm impressed with Gerold's service - thank you !!
I've started by assembling some of the track links to see how they are, and I have built myself a little fixture today to help align the links as they go together with CA glue.
I'll need to do the lower hull and wheels now so I get the track link numbers (and angles) right around the driving wheel and the idler as well as the flat runs.
This one will be fun !
Cheers

Looking forward to that Jagdpanzer Kanone Paul!
Art, the figures look great! I assume the first one has a replacement head?
My build is done, I'm off to the painting stage.

Stefan, great build on the M36B1 - I'll be starting mine after I get these other two campaigns done (only a few weeks left!) so will post progress shots along the way. I might add a complementary build log if I can figure out how to do it...
Paul, I'm looking forward to your Kanone! I was tempted to get this kit myself, and your build might just push me into it. Could you give pics and review of the bits you are replacing (like the tracks)? I want to see whether they are at all usable.

Hey Tom !
Will do - I've just assembled about half of the tracks links and I'll post pics of the sub assemblies and of the other bits, as well as the build as I go along.
There have been other build logs with the resin tracks in Kanone builds. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised by the tracks after hearing about issues with regards to how fragile the links can be in some of those threads.....
There are 230 links in the kit... the conversion requires 180. (I have had about 30 teeth brake in transit so I have plenty spare

).
The links come off the resin block very easily with a nice sharp hobby knife (put a new blade in for this), and if you use a little jig or fixture with a straight line, they're a no brainer to put together.
I've assembled about 90 links in about an 2 hours with CA glue (including removing them from the block and clean up with a suitable needle file).
I like them !!
The barrel and resin upper hull look REALLY crisp (read Quality !).
This will be a sweet build I think... .... pics later
Cheers

Here's some photos of my entry (and first kit). I need to get a decent photo set up together, but this is a start.
The fans won't be visible but the painting was a little airbrush practice and a hint of the color underneath might show through. I think the primer red is a bit bright.

Here is a couple of my 1/35 Accurate Armour Archer resin kit, still have plenty more to do of course but is a start. In the long run I think I will be looking to get some Friul tracks over the resin link/length type included, I also used a Lionmarc 17 pounder barrel over the one in the kit.
First resin kit, not too bad on clean up overall so far surprisingly but there have been the usual soft spots and there is some damaged pieces as well, instructions lack a few parts visually but the parts list on the back has helped out at times with that. Overall it has been better than expected thus far.

Also, are we able to do multiple entries or only a single? I didn't see it mentioned in the rules so thought to ask here. Thanks.

You can always make more kits for a campaign but you only get one ribbon for the campaign (unless the rules say otherwise).

Alrighty, thanks for the answer. I look to use it more for motivational purposes to get more things done.
