Hello All,
Remember that there were Pz IV used in some of the Middle East Wars of the late 40's and 50's. I might be an interesting Dio of an Pz IV vs an ISherman dueling it out way after the end of WW2.
Just a thought
Cheers,
Bruce

Not so much a duel, more of a turkey shoot.... The Pz.Kpfw. IV from the Syrian army were more like pillboxes.

Not sure what I will build yet, I'll have to see how busy I am at the time. And what other variants may have been released in the mean time...

Well, I've just returned from the LHS with Dragon's new Brummbaer mit Zimm and (gasp!) two airplanes! No, I haven't gone to the dark side. They were on sale cheap and "jumped" into my hands. I am a little disapointed in the Brummbaer's tracks they're DS with solid guide horns. I wish they'd included magic tracks too. Are there any AM interior kits out there? The gun looks good but I'd like to open the hatches and show it off. So anyway, that's what I'm doing. A great weekend to all !!! Tom

I just found an old Tamiya Mk. IV under some newspaper so I can join. It seems to have all of the parts on the trees and even the decals. This will be OOB since the budget dictates that no more kits, books or acc. until the next year. Does anyone have access to some color schemes that they would be willing to share over the internet?

Well, it seems I couldn't wait for the 1st of the year and am ready for the "paint shop" on my Brummbaer so I picked up Dragon's Smart Kit of the Jagdpanzer IV. This will be my project for the campaign. It looks to be a great kit. Tom

Howdy Y'all

I just enlisted. I don't know which tank I'll do yet but I've got a few. I am also doing a Dragon 1/35 Pz.Kpf.IV Ausf.D mith 7.5 cm Kw.K.40 L/43 for the Axis of Armor campaign. Sorry but I didn't want to wait, that campaign starts in February.

I'm leaning to doing Tamiya's 1/48 Pz IV Ausf. J in a late scheme, no zimmerett!

Y'all take care,
Don "Lakota"

@ Don, I can contest to the 1/48 PzJ kit being a good choice. I just finished one with zim and already planning on using this kit again for my D version (that's a lot of wheels!). I'm still doing the Bitter "Taste of Defeat" and "Humming Along" campaigns so no worries about me starting too early Here's the Tamiya kit - go for it!

I'm working on Dragon's new Jagdpanzer IV, what a nice kit ! Anyway, I'm getting ready to put on the casting numbers on the mantlet. How many numbers are there and where are they located. Also, are there any after market interiors for this kit ? It seems a shame to close it up. Dragon gives you a nice start on the interior. They should have gone the 38 (t) route if they were going to supply that much stuff. Thanks in advance ! Tom

I'll jump in if I have the time. I'm six kits behind right now on two other campaigns. I do have the Tamiya panzer IV H kit, and just recieved the Voyager jumbo pack for the kit, which I'll be reviewing soon. It may take me a year or two to finish the kit.
