Good afternoon, Company!
As (maybe) you would remember, I was making, for this campaign, the Verlinden German Radio Team WWII... just two resin figures.
Some "pages" ago I showed how I send to the trash bin the strange (an useless

) platform that one of the guys had beneath him...
Now... its now or never !

how have I painted Erbensmuster or Dot-44 camo pattern...
This is the first time I´ve painted a Dot-44 camo pattern...
After a little of "Research", this is what I think is a coherent painting sequence:
I.- I have primed my figures with Vallejo Chocolate Brown: I thought it is an adequate base colour for what I was intending to do in the next stages:

II.- Now I´ve made a mix of two parts of Vallejo Yellow Olive (70892 - 087) an one part of Vallejo Grey Green (70866 - 165): with this mixture I´ve painted the first "real" color of the uniform: I´ve painted completely the figures with this mixture. Let´s call this color "base green".

III.- Painting "Amoebas #1": I´ve elaborated a "medium green", with this mixture: four parts of Vallejo Yellow Olive (70892 - 087) plus one part of Vallejo Dark Yellow (70978): this way we get a lighter green, wich is painted in amoebas shapes over the "base green".
IV.- Painting "Amoebas #2": Directly with Vallejo German Camo Pale Brown (70825-144): we paint amoebas shapes over the "base green", but not over the "Amoebas #1"
V.- Painting "Amoebas #3": Directly with Vallejo German Camo Black Brown (70822-150), but not over the "Amoebas #1" or "Amoebas #2".
This is the basic shape of the amoebas: (in the photo you just can see only the Amoebas #2:

VI.- Paint small dots over the "base green" and over Amoebas #1 ; #2 and #3. Use this colors for the dots:
* Vallejo German Camo Pale Brown (70825-144)
* Vallejo German Camo Black Brown (70822-150)
* Vallejo Olive Green (70967-082)
Painting the small dots I´ve tried to follow this simple rule:
* Olive Green ONLY is painted over "base green" & "Amoebas #1".
* German Camo Black Brown ONLY is painted over "Amoebas #2"
I don´t know if I´ve made too much "historical mistakes", but I´ve enjoyed working with this camo scheme, and I (very modestly) like the results...
Amoebas distribution before dotting... an a figure painted after the dotting (I still need to correct the Flat Black mistake):

The figure with the dotting (I still need to correct the Flat Black mistake, but it will be very easy -I think-)

I think there is an excess of light in the photos of the dotted figure, so it´s difficult (at least for me) to distinguis properly the colors...
Warning: As you can see in the photos, I´ve made a mistake: I initially used Vallejo Flat Black instead of Vallejo German Camo Black Brown for the Amoebas #2... I don´t like the Flat Black looking... I´m going to "correct" that mistake.
So we´re still on the way !!

Cheers, guys
