Have I got your attention??
Good!!
I am thinking about a campaign, or maybe more of a mission, to tackle one of the main problems of vehicle/dioramamodelling; painting those figures!!
Let's paint these figures together and learn how to improve them, so our vehicles and diorama's finally get that finishing touch they deserve!
The rules;
1) Scale is 1/35 or 1/48,
2) you can use any paint you feel comfortable with,
3) figures may have been built, but need to be (re)painted from the start,
4) Vehicles and diorama's are welcome, built or not, but the main effort are the accompanying figures,
5) you show your progress in image and word, so others can see what you did, how you did it, so they can learn from it. This is the main goal!
6) you can enter with as many figures as you like, but a ribbon will be awarded to those who complete at least 2 figures.
7) Timeframe will be from 01-01-2010 to 01-07-2010. This way you can combine it with other running campaigns.
8) there is no level of skill required. Anyone can join in.
Anyone interested???

Hello Ron,
I am in only if you promise that the finished figure will not look like a 2 year old did it using Mr. Potato Head.
All of my figures look so bad that I do not use them in any of my builds.
Cheers,
Bruce

Saddle up, boys. We are going to do this!
Yeehah!
Alan, a company is great! The more experience you can get, the better you'll perform, right?
I will be going for a squad of North Vietnamese troops, just to make things more interesting...

I also designed a ribbon and Andrzej helped me putting it together.... well actually, he did most of the job. I just had the idea and made the background.
Thanks a lot, Andrzej!

Can I suggest this campaign is highlighted in the HF forum as they would be able to offer a very large knowledge base where figures are concerned.

Yeah... RIgth... You've sent me prepainted kit and the instruction and you write like I've build it from scratch... You're a bit too modest
