Im building the same kit, except im not adding any PE or scratchbuilt parts or non-slip surfaces. I am planing on using red confetti for the vision blocks- might want to think about doing that on your build.
looking great!

Thanks Jon. I have a nice little method in the works I wont reveal until I get back. I think it will be better than most vision blocks out there. It was a little messy at first but it isnt complex at all.

Thank you Charles and Sebastian! Means alot coming for the likes of you two. I'm not at your level yet but hopefully I will be next when I complete my Challenger 2, M1117, or M1200 builds. Sebastian could you possibly cast me a set of the corrected wheels you made from the M1078? If anything I'll send you a PM about it.
Thanks again everyone!

Sean,
The MGS build looks great so far, look forward to seeing it completed once your semester is finished. The PE adds some very nice extra touches to what already is a very impressive looking vehicle. The weighted wheels give the MGS a grounded feel and convey a sense of the additional weight that must come from the 105mm gun system. Good luck with your classes and keep up the outstanding work on all of your models.

So I finally got a break from midterms today and got to searching for some more photos to help me with my diorama. Here are some very interesting photos I found of M1128s and other Stryker variants using their slat armor in ways other than defeating RPG's and EFP's.
This will definitely be incorporated into my diorama. AH! I can't wait to work on it again!
Enjoy Everyone! I'll be coming home soon for spring break so I'll get a solid week of work in.

Hi Sean,
Could you please elaborate a little on the Yoyager etch panels on the basic hull. What sort of details do these flat etched part give, which the plastic parts do not have? I do agree they look "cool", when not painted, but is there any real value in these parts?
Regards Thomas

I was against using them at first but when applying other details such as baskets and other things must be attached to the side, it makes life so much easier. Now with the addition of resin tie down I will just use kit parts and substitute the tie downs with resin ones.

What resin tie downs, is it you mention? Are they part of the Yoyager kit?

Theyre available from Arms Corps models. If you check out Mouse House Enterprise's websit you'll be sure to find it there.
There are definitely some inaccuracies and fit issues with the voyager set when using the tie downs.
