The rules don't state if builds can't start until the campaign or if already started builds can be used. I find this is a question that always comes up.

First enlisted, woohoo!
Just one question: are german Beutepanzers, used in Eastern front, allowed, if they origin country is one from the list mentioned in campaign rules??

Hi Guys,
Ok I'm signed up, but being back at work is really a bumber I have lot less time for building so I hope I'm not over extending myself with the campaigns. I'm now realize why they run for 6 months to a year Oh well I went from building 8 hrs a day to about 8 minuets this week

Don´t worry Jeremy, you are not the only one. But on the other hand, then it could be perfect time for "Get the job done, part 3" campaign.

I found the Zvezda KV-1 in my stash and I am considering that one for this campaign. But I have not completely decided yet.
Otherwise I have very nice 1/72 OT-34, IS-1 or T-34/85 kits to choose from in the stash.

I have in my stash 1/72 russian armored car, type OB-3 with T-26(1933) double turrets, from Unimodel. At this moment, that´s my number one plan.

My damned imagination is getting the better of me. I have a T-55 that is ripe for building and perfect for this campaign, but I really want to build a Shilka. Anybody know of what decent 1/35 Shilka kits are out there? I'll be buying online as my local model shop is really a fishing and bicycle shop that sells models (and bog standard ones at that- hence my T-55 kit!).

I'm in - either will be a T-54 or T-80. At least that's my current thinking. I still have a bunch of WW II era Russian stuff sitting in the stash.

Hi Paul,
Got 2 kits on the way inbound Tamiyas JS III and Dragons JS1/2 so I may roll with 1 of these instead of the old Tamiya IS122.
Does anybody have any opinion on these kits

Sal: I think the Tamiya JS III is the way to go, that is if my memory serves me right.
Paul: I'm still going with the 1/48 Tamiya SU-122. I may make two of them, or build the 1/48 HobbyBoss KV-1s Ehkranami if I have enough time.

Would it be allowed to do a tank bunker for this campaign. I am planning to do one of the Bulgarian bunkers based on the Pz. IV chassis and turret. The Bulgarians apparently dug in their Pz. IVs, StuGs and JgdPz IVs along the border with Turkey instead of scrapping them.
I guess this would qualify for this campaign?

That's awesome Jesper! I don't think Paul has anything in the rules about the vehicle having to be mobile, I would just make sure to have it well documented so it's clear what you are doing.

Thanks for the quick feedback, guys.
I will start going through my stash and spares box to find the necessary parts. Still plenty of time to find the necessary references and parts until the campaign starts and building can begin.
More to follow

Ok, the ideas weren't flowing too freely for this one, so if you don't like this I won't be offended. The idea of the ribbon is that it contains the colors of several Eastern European flags. the image in the center is from a Soviet stamp that commemorates the 20th anniversary of the Warsaw Pact. It didn't shrink as well as I'd hoped. Anyway, here it is. You can judge for yourself.
Small version:
As I said, I won't be offended if you don't want to use it.
