seems this campaign needs more ribbon options so here are a few:
hope one of these will meet the criteria and is something people would want to have in their collection. let me know if i can be of any more assistance. cheers, bd.

All are good, Bruce, but I like the bottom one the best. Great idea.
My modelling time has been severely curtailed by a motorcycle accident. I'll do my best to complete the campaigns I have signed up for, but I think a few of them won't be done in time.

You bet Paul, with all of the creativity flowing through here between Axel, Bruce, Gary, and myself I think we're going to end up with one killer ribbon for this campaign
Bruce: I really like where the third ribbon is going

Two days and counting. Here's the kit I'm building:
I'm loosely basing it on the Romanian BTR in the photos below from Iraq. The vehicle in the photos is a BTR-80, but the Romanians had BTR-70s in Iraq that had virtually the same paint scheme.

Cool ribbons too !!!
I'll get Trumpeter T-62 or a SKIF BMP-3, still not sure, the SKIF tracks are a nightmare, I will check my stash for BTR from East Germany or Poland.

Had a whack at changing the banner to bring it into line with the ribbon.

Alex, Nice banner. Need to update what I have posted
Ok guys here is where I'm at decision time. This is my stash of Russian equipment and I said I was gonna roll with the SU -122

but I enjoyed the KV campaign, and the JS's look real interesting, but then again I could try a white wash on the SU-122 and have it rolling buy my hidden out Germans in the Winter Worrier campaign
What do you all think

Sal - I'm drooling looking at your pile of kits. If you don't make the JS-3 or KV-2, could I persuade you to trade one to me for Trumpeter's SA-2 Guideline kit?

Sal: I agree with Bill, nice collection you have there

I myself am going to be building a 1/48 SU-122. If I were in your shoes, I would be tempted to build the JS-3

I really like the ribbon Bruce came up with where he combined the hammer and sickle with Axel's background.
I am looking to join this campaign with the DML (I believe) T-80 w/ERA , I know it is not accurate and I have no intention to try and rectify that it will be a straight OOB build. I will not enlist just yet as I have a Challenger 2 nearly finished for the British Armour campaign, a KV1 at the painting stage for the Killer KV Campaign and a partially built KV1 in Finnish service still in the scratch work stage for the Killer KV campaign.

Progress pic. Glue melted the turret a bit, so had to fill it with some putty.

Oh my... I'm buried up to my neck in aircraft campaigns. Will try to squeeze a 1/35 Trumpeter KV-1 though (I want to steal its box to put paint bottles in)
