Les premiers effets de weathering.
Pour l'instant le moteur n'est pas collé et je travaille toujours sur la transmission.
J'ai fait un petit test de "boue+poussière" sur le flanc d'un des longerons.

First step of weathering ... The egine is not glued and I'm still working on the transmission (some parts are missing on the pictures).
I try to reproduce "mud and dust" on a flank of the frame ...
I hope you will enjoy it.

Back to my 1/35 Laffly S35 model (DES kit) , I'm just finishing the shiping and now I'm going to put impedimenta in it just to bring life. Next step, I will close the cab and do the end of the painting.
All comments will be appreciate (with simple english words if possible thx).

Patrice,

The kit looks wonderfull. As far as suggestions, I think the seats needs a little more texture. They look too uniform. Some shading would do wonders.

I'm looking forward to view the diorama.

Keep up the good work.

Outstanding. Looks to be a winner of a kit. I too thought that the seat pads needed more texture till I took a good look at them through the open door picture. You can see that the seats do in fact have texture to them that doesn't show up in the over head pictures.

Thx Joel and Frederik. In fact you are right together. The seats are not ready for the moment. I just put the first coat of oil paint on the acrylic base. It's just the first step. I need to do again some works ont the leather seats to get more shading and highlight on them. The center of the seats, for example, must be less "red" and the edges must be darker. But for the moment my oil paint is not dry enought ... I must wait about 3 days I think before going to the next step.

For the moment I'm painting some accessories and I'mlooking for german figures ... but the diorama will not be ready before a long time ...

Thx for your comments andI'm still looking for ideas!
