So, I guess the rest is busy with memorials and other campaigns. I got an update ready. The plan to get the front axle moveable started off good, but then I broke some parts and had to improvise. At least I managed to angle the wheels as I wanted.

I am still trying to figure out which kit to build. I have a LOT of Tamiya kits here but many of them have been started already.
Kits I know I have not started yet are the JGSDF Light Armored Vehicle, Leopard 1 (wow, is this an old kit!), Leopard 1A4, SAS Land Rover, and an LVTP-7. Right now I am leaning towards the Leopard 1A4.

You should go either the 1A4 or the LAV...I think that last one will look best with the least amount of work.

Gary - I would agree, the Leopard 1A4 is an impressive kit, despite its age. A friend of mine built it back in the late 80's, if I remember correctly, and it was very cool, even out of the box. I have one on the shelf, just in case...

Thank you Greg ,
that project was a kind of limbering up.
At the moment I am working on a Panther in 35-scale.
But I have got some more quarterscale kits e.g. an AFV Tiger or an M998.

Hi all, I just joined this Campaign. My first model in 1/35 scale was Tamiya and I've always loved how the Tamiya kits go to together so I figured I would build the Tamiya Schwimmwagen for this campaign.

Started my M41 Walker Bulldog the other day.
Easy enough kit, not too worried about the detail. A nice, quick build from a great company. After a day of building it was closing in on being done.
I love how Tamiya kits seem to fit together with minimal amounts of work. Guess I just get to save my sanding sticks for some other manufacturers kits.

Well I got some shots of my Abrams, but they came out a bit blurry but you can see where I'm going. I scratchbuilt the TI box, some conduit from the APU, filled up the motorization holes and am in a process of adding Voyagers PE.
Will get better shots when I get home.

Sven,
I like the work on the M1 so far. What are you using for the antiskid? From the photos it looks like carefully cut and applied sandpaper, or such. Just wondering, since I would like to do a Bradley soon that also sports the antiskid.
Thanks,
Stephen

Hello Stephen,i use the same as Mario is using (you can see the pictures on the upper part of the page),
Its Warhammer roughcoat by Citadel colors.
(Unfortunately,i cant find a picture now,but when i post my next update,it will include a pic of the spray ).
Spray is now discontinued,im lucky i got 2 in last minute.
I hope that helped and watch out for the picture.
Kind regards,Sven.

Ok,here we go.
Today i glued side and back boxes, and the mantlet.
After that i started to glue pe parts on those parts.
(Im aware that handles on the boxes are wrongly positioned, but that is fixed now.)
ps. Stephen,here you go-

Hi guys,
After a long stash decision, I've picked the 1:35 Hetzer.
Will start slowly this weekend, due to all the other Campaigns.
With regular photo updates
Stay tuned.

G'ay Guys !!
I'm in with the old Tamiya 1/35 Kampfpanzer Leopard Kit 35064 OOTB.
I'll add the Verlinden Nato Tank Crew set as well to make it a little more interesting.
Cheers
Paul
