Got a point there. Tamiya will have to make nice with the JGSDF then: they took delivery of the first 13 production variants earlier this year. I'll stil expect some tamiya quirks but if they make it within the year I'll do one OOTB for this campaign.

Like most of you my problem is to pick a kit from the Tamyia stash... I had the Hetzer for some time and everyone said it's a great kit, just I'll just give it a try.
Will add a metal gun barrel from Lion Roar and that's about it.

I have enlisted and plan on a 1/16 Jagdpanther (less the RC stuff).

Howdy Y'all:

The hardest part of this campaign is deciding what to build. I'm leaning toward something that was in service in the Med due to a club contest this fall has the same theme. Right now I'm thinking about doing a Bf 109-E7 Trop but I could easily change my mind. Anybody have any suggestions?

Tamiya Hetzers are the best out there whether you're going with 1/35 or 1/48, they just made the gun barrel the wrong length on the 1/48 kit. You really can't tell unless you put it up against some plans or are a 38(t) or Hetzer fanatic.

May I enlist as well? I started a tamiya Abrams but was unaware of the proposed campaign. I'm not far along the road, and would like to contribute?

I build a Czech Hetzer, post-WW2 awhile back from a Russian or EEuropean maker, but it was an Italeri re-boxed kit with some resin stowage, and some great clear parts (great detail ). Unfortunately it took a jump from the shelve and ended up in pieces... I salvaged the resin stowage ..
So it's going to be good to build the Tamyia version.

So far I have to finish the KV & AA Campaigns... start the What If & Tiger Campaigns... I guess I'm taking too many Campaigns ..

I just joined up, this will be a good excuse to dig out the Ford GPA I have in my stash (along with PE and AM resin tires). I have very little experience with PE ( I think I bought the PE, just because I see my friends playing with it ) and it scared the !@#$ out of me and that is why I put the kit on the shelf.

@ John, Nonsense I'm actively working on 3 campaigns plus signed up for 5 other that have either started or will start by June 6th, and dont put so much effort into sleep, I keep telling you guys its overrated

I'll be working on a 1/48 Bf 109E7 Trop, I might add some photoetch and resin as shown in the photo. The other kit, an Academy 1/48 Bf 109-E3 is for the 'Strictly out of the Box' Campaign.

I need to organize my builds and the workbench..
I need to reduce my stash by 30 % at least to make room for other kits .. otherwise I'll have to get a bigger house !!
Anyway things are set in motion for my Hetzer, a cool build, not much extras needed, it will be quite fun !!!

Hi guys i just finished tiger campaign, i am in here with a tamiya classic Sd.kfz 7/1 with 20 mm flakvierling that misteriusly appeared under the last christmas tree with my name.

Fellow Tamiya-philes,
Like many others, I am in the midst of a couple of campaigns, so I will not post much at all for a while. Also I need to determine which of the mountainous stack of Tamiya products will get the green light for building. I am currently building the Tamiya Chieftain for the British Armor campaign - so with a modern piece underway I will probably delve into the WWII stash. I shall browse a bit over the holiday weekend and give an update soon.

I have a Afrika Korp Kubelwagen that needs building to go with some tanks I never finished, but the Pershing calls my name too, especially after finishing the King Tiger. Go big!

Im looking forward to seeing some exciting pieces of artwork.

I personnaly will be building Tamiyas 1/35 Flakpanzer IV wirbelwind along with dragon fgures and will try to put together a diorama based in a field or forrest in Holland 1944-45.

Im now looking forward to finnishing work tomorrow arfternoon and diving in head first.

Green light! Yeah Baby!

Since I gotta wait for some part for the What If II, I think I can start this one (at least I have everything but some shoulder patches). So here are the June 1st shots, newspaper and all.

I got the Aber set atfer checking out the Hauler set - which basically is a scaled-up version of the 48th set. Also, provided that everything goes to plan, I will make the front wheels positionable for a more attractive look.
