Only 5 days to go!

A year is a good time frame for me. Two years out (baby took over the hobby room) and I'll need every single day of it to get back to remembering the little tips and tricks from years past.

I'll do Tamiya's 1/35 Tiger 1 Mid Production (Otto Carius' Tiger 1, July 1944).

I'm trying to finish the same kit as Keith.
For months, since I'm only building on weekends ...

Ah crap! Forgot this campaign was scheduled for early December. Will have to put my foray over to the dark side (fixed wing aircraft) off until my tabby gets done.
Living on an island in Thailand tends to blur ones sense of time. Hang on, might be the Thai beer doing that also.
Ferdinand or King...........decisions, decisions. I know, I'll have a beer!

Here's my project, it will be mostly OOB except for Friul tracks and a few bits of P/E

Took it out but can't get it back in the box... Here is my build for this campaign
but I will be robbing a few pieces from an old Tamiya Initial to back date this kit ..

Glad this is a year long Campaign, I'm averaging 55 hours a week with no breaks in sight. Happy to be working, but Oh Man! I'm not getting any younger.

I can't believe I didn't notice this campaign forming sooner! I joined this morning and I will be building a King Tiger- the Tamiya Ardennes Front kit. This will be my first Tiger build of any kind--I'm looking forward to it.

Got a little start today but not much but its a start


I Knew a Tiger was big but this is my first Tiger and its like I'm building a 1/25 Auto

Count me in on this one. Not sure what I am going to build yet.

I think my dragon Tiger 2 is about ready to jump out of the box

The Tiger I is big, wait 'till you build the Tiger II

I'll hop aboard with a Tiger II production turret and just shoot for a fun build with a Tamiya kit.

Here we go. Home sick today.

I guess I'm going factory fresh with light dusting for #132. I'll save the fenders for another build. Got most of the hull done now. I may need another barrel but I'm going to try to model the kit barrel if possible.

The barrel's not glued but I think it will work out just fine.

Thanks. It was nice being laid up on the couch with it all day. Back to the grind at work today. It's the painting phase I always procrastinate on because it's outside in the shed. Cheers
