This is my first attempt at the hairspray method do you think I,ve overdone the scrubbing on the T34

Will now start on the decals and wheathering up a bit more want to make it look well used and then start on the tankriders I got with the kit

Looking good Sal, just dab a little Mr. Surfacer into those seems and you should be good to go And I forgot, but what were you planning for a dio with these?

No Mr. Surfacer all i have is Squadron White so that will do. Im gonna put them in and Urban Setting (Urban Campaign) in fear of my KV-1( Killer KV Campaigne) that will be moving up in on them, I hope

That'll do the job, just mix in some acetone and it should be fine to work with And sounds good, and I think I remember you mentioning that. I'll be making a snow-themed dio along with my figure for this campaign, and will merge them with my KT for the Tiger campaign

Yes, the acetone worked good mixed with the Squadron white, check my Zimm on my Tiger Looking forward to seeing you KT dio

Indeed, I saw! And I agree with you that making your own zimm is a pain in the wrists Once I get caught up with a small handful of other projects I'll start on my KT dio

hi guys , reckon im going to call the KT done, ive tryed to replicate some snow lying on an around tow cables and a few places where it might stay on the tank,hope ya like it i aint tryed winter camo before LOL.




most of the weathering is done with the new AK range, the more i use it the more i like it, only used pigments for the snow.

Ok I put the video games away for a moment and assembled my figures which looks really good imo. It's nice to do something else than the usual german uniforms and tunics. I had to do alot of fixing on the seams with miliput as you can see. The coats came in 4 pieces per coat (not counting the arms) that had to be glued together and well.. they didn't really fit together at all.
Now they just need a little more fixing and then a coat of primer.

Also I found one of the original pictures that the sculpter has used for reference

doubt it the only year I can find on the package is 2009.. but don't think that's the production year.

Like, I suspect, a few others hereabout I seem to have signed up for quite a few campaigns so I shouldn't really be doing this but the title gave me the excuse to build something that has been on my "to do" list for many years, the Swedish PbV302 APC or Pebba as I believe they are called. Something about the shape is just fascinating and in winter/splinter colours as well it should look rather nice.
I had heard that you could use a little of the basics from a M113 but it wasn't till I started that I realised just how little.
I compared both the Tamiya and Academy kits but both required lengthening and widening

Then I considered the AFV Club M548/Chapperal and it fitted the drawing that I had scaled to 1/35th just needing to be made wider.

So cutting down the sides,widening, building up the drive houseings and rebuilding the underbody does indeed leave little of the original left.


Next I put in the new floorpan onto which I planed to build the bodywork.




Then comes the compartment sides,the glacis plate, the roof and the rear doors.
It actually starts to look like the PbV, in outline at least.


You will of course notice that I have left the tricky bit, i.e. the curved side panels till later.

Too bad you had to hack up a M548 hull and not a standard M113.
