Hi,

just saw the campaign. Sounds interesting. Is a Dana from HobbyBoss ok?

Hello, Sven. From what I have read the Dana is driven on wheetls and used as artillery, so it is OK.

Matthew, how big is the stash and do you happen to have a Mirage 1/35 7TP? Either the kit or espcially the turret that you would be willing to part with for a price. I need one to enter the White Eagle campaign, my kits turret was destroyed.

Sorry Bob, I am not an armor guy, so I don't have that kit. WRT my stash, my artillery stash is nowhere near my figure stash, but I am very proud of the fact that it is growing.

Hi Bob,

Finally, a campaign that will start after I get back from my deployment! While home on leave, I ordered Dragon's late Hummel Smart Kit which will be perfect for this. As a proud US Army Redleg, I would have to say that I prefer the first version of your proposed campaign ribbon, as it is the traditional Field Artillery colors, but hey, that's just me. Since my Battalion recently traded in our M198s for the M777A2, I may have to try and fit in a late model M198 as well!

Anyways, thanks for starting this campaign and giving me some more motivation to get crackin' on that Hummel when I get home!

Hi Art. If you like the colors on the second ribbon, you don't have to feel bad about it, as there is a traditional background for the blue as well. The second ribbon was meant to evoke the Civil war uniform trousers artillerymen wore (red stripe on blue trousers) which gave them the nickname 'red leg' in the first place.

Keep your head down until you get home, troop.

It is past time for a BUMP. I still have planned on the M109 for my build since it is the only kit in the stash for the moment. There are (26) so far.

Sal, I am not sure maybe you should send it to me for a personal inspection . Yep you know it qualifies and I would like to meet the person that gave it you and get on their Xmas list.

Aloha All,

I've enlisted, as one can never have too much artillery. Not sure what build yet. I've got a Pak 40, a Pak 36 and an M102 in the stash, but I might think of something else before October.

Happy Modelling, -zon

I've signed up for this one, and sometime between now and the start I need to decide if I want to tackle the Alanger 76-mm Soviet regimental gun model 1943 (which may or not offer the usual location, alignment, and fit issues, which I won't know until I open the box come starting time) or a nice shake and bake Tamiya 25 pounder field gun (which I somehow ended up with 3 of, including one paired with the Quad Gun Tractor) or maybe even the Dragon 60 cm Morser Karl Gerat 040 that waits patiently in my Closet of Doomed Plastic, aka the stash. I'll have to make up my mind closer to the time when I have a better idea of how much sanity I have to play around with . . .

Hello people, count me in too, I have several unbuilt arty kits in my stash including an ACE Pak 43 and a wonderful Attack 12cm Flak 44 & trailer, so I'll be having my hands full. 1/72 scale that is.

I was going through my stash and found a 1/35 Trumpeter s.F.H. 18 15cm Field Howitzer, I completely forgot that I picked it up on clearance a while back. I'll be going with this one for this campaign

Jeremy I will trade my Italeri M109 A6 Paladin for your 1/35 Trumpeter .F.H. 18 15cm Field Howitzer if you want to :-)-- Hey nice choice, how far did you have to dig into the stash to find it?

Lol, if I had another I'd send it your way. I think this is my only artillery piece in 1/35 I found it about halfway through the stash, I couldn't even see it in it's little dark gray box and had no idea what it was until I pulled it out
