@armour__dude – Dave,

I must say that looks just like the photograph! Has to be some of the best work I’ve seen here. I don’t know what else to say, it looks so good. Truly impressive and inspirational.

Thanks for the link on the Corsair you did a super job on that kit too! I don’t know what you have planned next to build and post but I’ll be looking out for it! You do excellent work and well researched. Great set of photographs too!

~ Eddy

Thanks Eddy,

My thoughts on posting pictures of my models is the pictures have to be good. They should be well lit, sharp and taken from different angles to give the modeler looking at them an an accurate view of the work done. Afterall one can build a great model but if the pictures are average to below average it doesn't give a good representation of the work done irregardless of how good it is. I want people to look at the pictures and hopefully say this is almost as good as looking at the real model. And though they may not care for the model at least they make an informed judgement.

Anyhow, thanks very much for the highest of praise. It is much appreciated. I am still just an average modeler with very much still to learn but I am trying to get better. I wish I have more time for these things but like many people I do find it hard to work for extended periods of time on them. I did the Corsair because I love airplanes too and didn't want to restrict my efforts and learning to just armour models. Of course the Corsair is one my favourite airplanes of WWII.

As for my next projects I have the M4A3(75)W that I posted here some time ago that I have to finish as well as my 2nd SS panzer leibstandarte Ardennes Panther.

Thanks again,

Dave.

Dave,

Job well done. That’s one impressive build, and very nice presentation. Excellent job with the Sherman, ground work, and figure. I like the way the gear is hanging on the turret. BTW, who makes that gear?

Looking forward to you next build.

Hey Big John,

Thanks a bunch for having a look at the final product. Glad you like it. The Mussette bags are suprisingly from Tamiya. They are not bad at all in my opinion and well worth adding to any kit. I plan to use them on my M4A3(75)W that I posted here a while back.

Cheers,
Dave.

Eric,

thanks for having a look and for your comments on the final product. I like how it turned out but I must say I think it took me too long to complete. I got distracted along the way with other projectsd and of course family comes first but I am glad I was able ot finish it.

Cheers,
Dave.

Eddy,

Sorry for the late reply but thanks very much for your kind words. I am glad you like the project. My photographs need improvement especially with regards to figures but I am trying.

Don, thanks a bunch. Glad you like it. I really enjoyed doing this one even it took too long. Almost a year from start to finish but she's done.

Cheers,
Dave.

Eric,

Thanks a bunch. The snow is the Hudson and Allen product. I think it worked quite well for the scene. I too am looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Cheers,
Dave.

Hi, I like your scene very much. That figure painting is outstanding!! Good job matching the photo overall.

Greg,

Sorry for the late reply but thanks for having a look at this project. I used Vallejo paints and the blending method on the uniform which is similar to how I do the face which is using varioius shades of paint thinned to a milky consistency and painted on in layers dark, light, dark etc.

Now if I can only learn to take better figure pictures.

Regards,
Dave.
