No complaints from me, if anything envy comes to mind. Well at least it gives me something to strive towards. Well done thus far Prophecy.

How did you find working with all the PE?
Reason I ask is that I'm doing the same model, and the PE is rather demanding, well for me anyway. It is my first attempt at a conversion kit and PE all in one.

I think the PE in this Kit isn't a problem compared with a SLAT.

For bending of the large parts I use a bending tool from "the small shop". For gluing I use superglue from MXBon Adhesive Expert with the Number 401.
For the aplication of the Glue I use a needle. Make a little spot of glue on a CD or something else, dip the needle in and coat the cementing point. Instead of a needle you can also use some brass wire.

New here but I must say that your Stryker and Dumvee are mighty Impressive. One small thing tho. I noticed that in your M110 sniper rifle has the suppressor glued to the end of the barrel. In reality, it slips OVER the barrel and does not add to the length ( appreciably...). Otherwise,I am very envious of you apparent skill. Great job.

Hello thanks for this comment. I have changed it.
The Color for the Dumvee was Vallejo Model Air Sand Yellow. For the scratches I used at first a mix sand yellow + white. After a short drying period I use a dark grey from vallejo model color for the deeper scratches. I applied all with a small brush.

I really like this one. The driver looks as if he's talking to someone. My guess is there needs to be another SF dude standing next to the vehicle. Hmmm...

Pretty much follow your recommendations. I've purchased a bending tool, and I use a pin vise with thin wire as the point for applying the superglue (which I 'spot' on a plastic milk top).
As they say practice, practice, practice.
If my model comes any where near your standard I'll be happy.

Wow, that looks great! Awesome job!
As a sidenote, I have to admit though... Seeing the GMV and all the stuff carried and how the SOFs are stuffed in there, I do wonder if the HMMWV is the correct vehicle to use for the SOFs. Is it too cramped compared to a Land Rover WMIK or extended Jeep Wrangler? I know the SOFs use the FMTV "Warpig" and have four GMVs per 12-man A-Team to distribute the load. Still, just seeing this model does make me wonder if the HMMWV is kind of outdated and in needing of a larger 4X4 replacement outside of the MRAP. Your model really conveys this. Heck, I know the Army has been trying to field a HMMWV replacement for a while...

6th or 60th build. What a terrific model. I'm truly impressed. Just when I think I'm making progress, I come across a build of this level, and realize that I so much further to go just to be a competent armor modeler.

Really nice build job! as far as the painting it leaves a little to be desired and the figures need a lot of work, it takes a lot of practice when painting figures.
Good luck! and thanks for sharing.

The land rovers are not as wide or as long as hummers so can't really carry as much as a hummer. A 6x6 hummer would have been a good idea just like the aussie SAS who went with a 6x6 landrover. though they still had problems with the weight limits placed on the landies. I think the aussie SASR will be using the jackal and coyote vehicles as replacements for the landrovers. what the american will use is anyones guess.
Buy the way, awesome model! looks awesome! the figures really give it a sence of life too.

I think you're getting good info on present day Hummer stowage. I do recall carrying Pepsi and Mountain Dew cases in a M-1038 on exercises in Korea. You had to have something to cut the Soju with....
