Well, here she is. This project is now finished unless I find something else to add to it. I took these photo's quickly on my phone last night, but there will be better photos taken later for my website.
Please enjoy.

Nice looking scene you have there, I like it. Did you make the base or is it a pre fab 1

It looks really good and has an interesting story. The one thing that is out of place I think is the 2 boxes the guy on the tank is sitting on. Maybe you can exchange it for a light/small crate or something else.

Thank Guys
I spent my time working out how I wanted the scene to look.
The base was made from scratch using a MDF plinth and car bodyfiller for the terrain. The rest is scenic scatter, sand and model railway ballast with FOG grass tufts and clumps.
You need to remember this is a tank that has been captured in battle, so it's being paint in a quiet place away from the battlefield. They will be using what's available for sitting on, and these ammo crates were to hand when the tank was captured. Well, that's my reason.

I really like the layout of the dior and all of the characters involved. How long did it take you to plan this out?

Thanks Jeremy.
Started the initial build on the tank about August last year, began to have the ideas for the dio in October. So I started ordering the extra bits needed which carried on through until March as the scene developed in my head. So it was about an eight month process on this one.

It was worth the time, very well balanced. I don't feel so out of place now when projects like this take me a while

I'm not a diorama builder, but I do appreciate a well done one, where the scene doesn't dominate the model. Yours just seems to have the right proportions, yet there is plenty to keep the viewer interested as his eyes scan the entire scene.

Thank you all for your comments.
This was a serious project that turned into a project of humour. As I start projects, the end product might not be what I initially planned at the start.
