Hi. I just started the Hobbyboss kit of the AAVP. Is the suspension the same on both sides of the vehicle? I'm confused by the way the instructions are laid out. Are the roadwheels offset a bit from one side to the other? Thanks for the help. Wingman out.

Howdy Mwolfe, yes the left roadwheel arms are more forward than the right due to the torsion bar suspension. Outta here, Mike sends . . .

Hi Mike. This might sound stupid. So I should follow what is on the instructions even if it looks like there are more parts for the left suspension than the right. I'm used to both sides having the same amount of parts for the suspension. Thanks for the help Mike, it's greatly appreciated. Wingman out.

Howdy Mwolfe, there should be six roadwheel/arm assemblies and three shock absorbers from Sprue B per side.

Thanks Mike. Would anyone happen to know of some good interior shots of the AAVP? Thanks, Wingman out.

Hello. Thanks again Mike. Can anyone tell me where I can get some antenna mounts. The HobbyBoss kit comes with only two. Thanks for the help, Wingman out.

The additional armor painted and weathered. Hard to see the scratched paint in the photos. Wingman out.

I'm working on a Amtrac also, I've seen it sitting between the headlights on the nose.

You're welcome Rick. I'm glad I can help others. Just PM me if you need something specific (the AAV is one of my favourite AFVs).

Maybe some USMC resident experts could help with the track sag question ?

Thanks Frenchy, what he said, much appreciated. Mine will be in the Nato scheme with tan additional armor. Probably not much stowage. Where can one pick up a horeshoe? Wingman out.
