Hi lads
After a short silence I had time tonight. Unfortunately, the summer time is not my hobby time. I'm a chef, so when you are traveling guys..... so in that time I'm working for you in the kitchen. Anyway tonight I finished some things
For example I remaked the top of the roof, couse my friends said, that the shape of the turret is not correct. So I made a mass from epoxy putty and I worked in to the material of turret. after one day I fixed all the "scratches" what is so specific for the T-62.
Today I made all the cabels what are going in to the "lamps" next to the gun and on the top of the turret as well.
And after of course, I neede for some fun so I tried the spare track to the side of the turret! It will looks ok in 1:35 scale as well
So that was today, let see what will be tomorrow.......
Cheers

Hi everybody,
Yesterday I had a day off, so I was working on it again. Not much things to do, but I spent the whole my day for that. I've made it the grills of the ventillation system. Unfortunately this is the weakest point of the great E.T. set, couse in the bubble one completly missing the inside staff! So I had to create from old P.E. sets
I also made the grill next to the bubble one (unfortunately, I don't know what is the function of that) there are ribs on the grill. It was much more easier to made it than I' ve thought. Of course, the door of it is ready as well, but I was too tired to position it, so that will be the next step.
that's for today, I1ll be back soon
Cheers

The "Bubble" vent, or the Grill with the dome shape in the top is to give cooling fan clearence, a massive engine bay/rad cooling fan sits under that vent, and I think both those rear vents are linked into the same cooling fan housing area, in other words they both vent hot air from the engine.

I had planned on doing one of this, but mod '72. However, I got caught up in building the three most advanced tanks in the world. Your build is making me wish I had stuck with the T-62. Some excellent work on the pe. I may have to switch from Voyager, who I have enjoyed. What are you using to simulate weld beads?

Hi guys!
Thanks the nice words! Thanks to Matt the technical explanation.
ANd for the another Matt I use an A+B named epoxy putty for the welding that's the link where you can order one. http://www.jimsreef.com/estore/index.php?main_page=product_reviews_info&products_id=146&reviews_id=3 It's only 8 dollars, but I use this more than 3 years!

And I also started the back area. Not too big changes, but start to looks like a T-62

Hi guys!
In the last few weeks I remaked a loads of parts, I have also on a hungarian forum a topic, and there are some expert guy from the "new" russian stuff, specialy from T-62
Anyway here are some of my mistake
The cage of the front lamps were too smale
and this is the new one
The locks of the lamp on the top was plastic one what was originaly on the trumpeter one, but it's very ugly, so I changed as well, and also remaked the smale thing (I don't know that name)
Originaly the trumpeter made a mistake (they made a loads) on the front armour. They mispositioned the place of the screws' base on the lowerer hull
And the bigest, I changed the basic of the gun, couse I used the RB metal ring, but it's not corrent as size and as materian neither. Couse the basic of the burrel is like a cast iron, not like a flat treated one. And as my friend told to me the canvas what i made it wasn't correct as well. So here is my new one
I also made it the horn on the left hand side, and finished the driver position, and their cables.
And the welding imitation is ready as well
That's it now, I hope, now I can start to build again and I won't do mistakes again.
Cheers

Hi Aaron!
Yes the spare tracks...... that was a briliant question, and the answer so simple..... I don't have an idea I think it's welded one, couse if you see the photo you can see that the spare track's midle where are the driver spikes it's under the barrier! So I think I will glue it somehow, ot I will soldering!? we will see. By the way, that wont be tomorrow
Cheers: Gergo
HOLA!
I got the recent military modelcraft international and it has an excellent walkaround of the t-62m
what drew my eye was this:
lifting hooks to attach the bar armour, maybe they used the same to attach the extra tracks?
anywho, thought it may help...

It was enough busy in the last few months, I didn't have any chance to finish for paint my beast. But in the last few weeks I was working on it and only two thing are missing, but finaly my beast is ready to paint! Here are the final photos before that. I hope you like it!? Any constructive comments are very welcome!

Beautiful!!
May sound a little nuts to say but I almost don't want to see paint and just enjoy your beautiful craftsmanship work with all the metal and PE.
With that said should be beautiful once finished!

This looks awesome, I can't wait to see some paint on it, though as James said it is nice at this point to admire all the extra work and PE that has gone into this build!

Looks so good it's almost seem like a shame to paint it.
Well done!
Did you get hold of the MP shell casings? Can't wait to see the finished model on its base (as well as live at IMSS 2013..?) .
Cheers,

Hi guys!
Thanks for the nice words! After I watched again my photos, I found some mistakes, so I have to fix it before painting it. Hopefuly on the next week will arrive my paint from china, and after that no more barrier!
I was looking for the MP shells, but all the stores who has, not answer to me back, or just ignoring me, when I asked about pay paypal. So I'm still looking for the option of it.
IMMS? 2013? I don't know mate that is so far away, but I'll be there in Folkestone in this year! And of course in Mosonmagyaróvár in 2013 april.
So see you soon with the first photos of paint.
