We''ve seen a number of announcements concerning Allied AFV Crews in the last year or two. This one though, from
MiniArt Ltd., is certainly unusual.

Hi all,
I wonder if this crew could be used for Korea, too. They will look good next to Tasca`s M4 A3 E8. I perhaps have to change the Thompson for a Grease Gun.

Thompson? Don't all those three smg wielders have M3s?
Looks like a great set! Good poses too. I don't remember seeing a styrene figure of a crew member firing a .50 cal before either.

Wow. This is one of the few sets where I immediately ditch my diorama plans on my current model because this set is just too darned perfect.
Must have, I love this company.

These are really interesting poses, but how many years do we have to wait for the actual product? I'm still waiting for their previously announced set of cold weather dressed US tank crew! I hope the guy on the .50 cal will fit in an M8 AC. or the M3 halftrack.

These will be totally awesome when they actually get released which, judging by the last set of US Tankers announced, will be about 2 years from now.

It's a beautiful set, but when will we see it? Or the other US tankers? It's a cruel tease. At least they are willing to work on a subject like this. Could I suggest Marine/PTO tankers next?

Artworks beautiful but i note the M2HB is on a Modern Mk 64 mount more appropriate for Iraq than WWII.

Well, fortunately, since no work has likely started on the actual sculpting of these and probably won't for some time, that should be an easy fix when they get round to it...

Here's the good news. There's no doubt this is the nicest and most imaginative set of US tankers to appear anywhere.
Now the bad news. Will we ever get to actually hold it in our hands? This is the third set of US tankers announced by MiniArt and we haven't seen a single one of them on our hobby shop shelves. The first set was announced over a year ago and there's been no sign of it.
Come on! Anyone can announce new figure sets. How about actually producing them?

The artwork is tremendous. 2 problems.
1/ As mentioned, they are most likely a fair way away, if ever.
2/ They would want to be as close as possible in plastic to the boxart to get my $.

Welllllll.... When/ if they are produced I will definitely be getting a set. There really is a market for Allied figures. Looks like some manufacturers are finally taking notice....it seem to be the Eastern European companies like Masterbox and Mini Art....now if they only come to fruition!

good to see more allied figures for allied tanks but would like them to do the same for the US half tracks as they seem to lack and crew figures to with them .

I like a lot those incredibly convincing poses
I hope Miniart will produce soon something similar with russian tankers
...well in my opinion T-55 isn' t just a tank. Actually it is THE TANK...
