Hello All,
@ Hello Paul,
Welcome to the campaign. Please remember it starts next year. Lots of time to get ready.
@ Hello Trevor,
Yes, The Greater German Reich is off limit to include Austria, All other eastern countries are allowed. Have fun.
Please remember to read the rules. Before you start your build next year you must post a photo in the official campaign thread with a newspaper showing a date with your build and ant thing else you might want us to see.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Bruce

Hello Trevor,
The newspaper with the date shown with your kit parts to prove it is an unbuilt model. Some of the members are putting pre-built models by them selfs or bought for the ribbons. Why I do not know, To me the building is the point of a campaign along with learning from others or teaching them techniques such as painting with under tones, weathering, diorama styles, ect. So some campaigns put the rules the newspaper rule. In my campaigns I have been putting that rule in from Blitz 2 and other campaigns.
I know it is a PITA, But even I must do it.
If yo have anyother questions, Please let me know either in this thread or by PM.
Cheers,
Bruce

Hello Wayne,
I knew you would find the next Blitz sooner or later. Remember it is open to anything that fought on the Eastern front.
Glad to have you back on the boards,
Cheers,
Bruce

Hi all,
i would like to enlist (althought i'm not sure to have understood the difference with a classic campaign) but i have some questions to ask before:
-are soviets forces allowed (i didn't saw it in the rules) ?
-are singles figures allowed (i didn't saw it either in the rules) ?
Cheers,
nico

Hello Nicolas,
Yes and Yes.
I used some of the rules as an example for some of the members that did not know that other countries besides Germany fought against the Soviet forces on the eastern front.
I hope I answered your question,
Cheers,
Bruce

Hi Bruce,
thanks for your answers, yes you did it clearly.
So i'm going to enlist as i think i would have finish my actuals campaigns...
I'm hesitating, a single home made soviet figure (i saw a photo of soviets marines involved in the early times of Barbarossa that inspired me) or an Eduard La-7 i get in my stach......or both, i will see...

Hello Mark & Martin,
Welcome to Blitz 4.

As you seen in the rules the campaign is simple, anything/one that fought on the Eastern Front is allowed. Single builds or dio are allowed.
The biggest Rule I have is to have Fun with your build and the campaign.
If you have any question's Just PM me,
Cheers,
Bruce

Signed on for this one. Not sure what I`ll build yet, so I pulled out some refs to rifle through.

Now where did I leave that bottle of vodka...
Whereas to an englishman the taking of a sledgehammer to crack a nut is a wrong decision and a sign of mental immaturity, to a russian the opposite is the case. In russian eyes the cracking of nuts is clearly what sledgehammers are for.

Hello Conor,
Welcome to the campaign and to Armorama campaigns.
You have alot of fun deciding which period to do a Diorama. I am thinking about doing one on the 1941-42 period with Soviet Forces in the retreat.

Cheers,
Bruce

I'm looking at a doing a Summer '42 diorama. Maybe an ambush or something intense. But June is still a few months off and things can change!
Glad to be a part of this.

Hello Luca,
What is allowed is the following:
The start line is the area of the Brest-Litovsk. To included
the areas of Soviet Union, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Finland ( before the treaty with the S.U.) and Czechoslovakia.
The stop point for this campaign is the border of East Prussia, The Greater Germany Reich ( to include Austria ).
I am saving the last part of Russian battle for Berlin for another Blitzkrieg.
I hope the answers your question. If you have any others, Please post them in the thread or PM.
Cheers,
Bruce
