Hello Jose & Conor,
Yes to both of your builds.

@ Jon,
You aircraft build is OK also. Sorry about the late reply.
As long as you do not do anything in East Prussia, West Prussia, Germany or Austria, Anything else should be OK.
I wonder if anyone is going to do either of the Warsaw Uprising's?

I am going to start a new thread for this campaign around the 20th or so for the Official Thread.

I have asked Jeremy (Von Hengest) to watch over the campaign as I am going to have the nails on my left foot removed on the 27th, So I will be off line for about 7-10 days.
If you have any questions, Please ask here or PM me,
Cheers,
Bruce

Thank God for 50 year old scotch for the off time.
Cheers,
Bruce

Oh man. Good luck with your procedure Bruce. I'm sure all will turn out fine and that you will be on the road to recovery very fast!

It won't be the same around here without you, but we'll get by. I have been through some surgeries in the past so follow your Doctors advice and all should work out great.

Drop in when you can and get back to the workbench quickly!

I went ahead and purchased an aluminum barrel and brass muzzle brake for my Campaign effort, I think that's all I'll need.

Should be an interesting and educational build!

I'm sure that armed with a bottle of 50yr old scotch Bruce is a veritable one-man army I'll be here for anyone's needs while he is away from us, so don't be a stranger

In the meantime I need to figure out what I'm going to be using for my own build.... something Red I'm thinking...decisions decisions

Speaking of Red, too bad they never captured any of the Emils and painted a Red Star on it.

Hello Jeff,
I have not been able to find any photo's of the Sturer Emil in either Russian colors or with the red star.
I did find out the the one captured is in a Russian Museum and Actung Panzer has a little info that can be found there
I hope this helps. It also give the name of the Russian Museum.
I hope will help, I will check my books and see if I can find any photo's,
Cheers,
Bruce

Thanks Bruce, same here as no photos exist I'm afraid.

Maybe that could be a future Campaign idea ... Captured Armor? Nothing is more sinister looking than a Red Star on German equipment.

I decided to join and went to a LHS this week to find something suitable. I bought a KV-1S in 1/72 from PST. I never build anything fom them but the kit looks ok and was cheaper then dinner. Its time take the Mosins out of the closets and defend our fields and factories Comrades !

I didn't even get a chance to start my build for that one, but it was a really cool campaign! I spoke with him about a second campaign, but haven't heard back from him yet. If he's not interested I would be happy to run a second one starting late this year or early next year.

Naseby: One of our comrades here on Armorama was kind enough to send me a double of one of his PST KV kits. They are... challenging... to say the least, and I was getting a bit frustrated trying to get all of the pieces to work together properly. I think it may even be the KV-1S, which is the flamethrower version if I remember correctly? It looks like it will turn out to be a pretty ok build once you have put the time into it, and you can't beat PST on rare subjects in 1/72.

Hello All,
I am trying to keep the focus of this campaign on Russia/Poland.
If you want to do a build that is in Prague, Hungary, Romania or other places, Please PM me or Jeremy about what you want to do. We will let you know if it is OK.

Please remember that a lot of fighting took place in Russia, Germany attack 1941-1943 and the Counter-Attack of 1943-1944/45 across Russia, Poland and to the border of Germany.
Thanks,
Bruce

I have a PST KV-122 and it's not all that bad. I bought it to look over for this 1/16th conversion I am planning, then I will put it together as well.

Jose: Nice choices! Make sure you post your photos in the official thread.

And that goes for everyone else here, this thread will be closed and all further comments and photos should be posted in the new thread found here:
