Man this Buffalo looks great with all these mashine gun upgrades and the scratch work, what for a mashine. Are this a 'fantasy' model or give it real?

Thanks! It be first probe. If I will have good sales, I will continue with 24 scale to other periods

1/24 weapons would be great, Yaroslav! The modelers have waited many years for a 1/24 M2HB, M240, M249, and mini gun. No one ever seemed to make one accurate and cheap enough in large quantities.

Perhaps I'm missing something but I'm not really familiar with any modern figures or vehicles in 1/24 scale? Why do you guys think there is a market for 1/24 scale modern weapons?

Mario

Before MENG, the only way to make a Technical pickup was using a 1/24 scale HiLux pickup. Also, a lot of "Mad Max" vehicles draw from the 1/24 stock. Lots of movies have these souped-up Rebel vehicles: TERMINATOR, BlackHawk Down, Mad Max, ZombieLand, Act of Valor, etc.

There are quite a few Sci-fi and fantasy campaigns here that call for vehicles with weapons modifications after some apocalypse: Twilight 2000, End of Days 1 and 2, Zombie, What Ifs 1 and 2, Movie Vehicles, Underdog, etc. And not just on Armorama, but I've seen the call for 1/24 and 1/25 weapons on many Sci-fi forums for many years.

But the main impediment to making vehicles representing the above campaigns was one, the lack of civilian vehicles in 1/35 scale (1/24 and 1/25 scale were mainly it), and two, the lack of 1/24 and 1/25 guns to convert them. There are 1/24 sheet styrene, accessories, thread plate, and some figures, but no 1/24 guns. Over the years, modelers have said that they would make 1/24 weapons, but few ever produced any in quantities that were cheap and plentiful, not to mention accurate to scale and modern.

Mario, I am sure the market for military items in 1:24 or 1:25 is not as big as in 1:35 (naturally).

But if you want to build something with contemporary cars, vans or trucks you have to rely on 1:24 or 1:25 scale.

For example something like that (built by me):

Yaroslav,
I recieved your package today, the Live Resin figures look really great !!
They look perfect with the other figures (see photos) .
I noticed that 1/35 scale is much difference in figures, some are to small etc.
Live Resin goes perfect with Hobby Fan and some Verlinden, they all have the same size.
Perfect work, Yaroslav

WWII Weapons in 1/24th would be awesome considering that you have a nice German BMW with side cat from Tasca and they did not tool an M.G.-34 to go with it.

AK-47s and AK-74s would be nice too. The plastic 1/35 DML AK-47s are getting kind of hard to find these days and the resin ones I heard by other makers have some issues and not all the accessories.

The Dragon AK's SUCK! Tamiya's and Zvezda's are the best.
Yes it would be nice to see some killer detailed ones on the market.

I don't know if i'm alone on this, but i dreams for a few modern weapons (M4/M2/M240...) and GI's or pilots figures parts (boots/heads/helmets/torso) in 1/48.
I need some for some helicopters (CH47D/CH46E...) dioramas.

If you are that unhappy about it, I can provide you with my adress. I am willing to pay

You should have done a log on that, because he looks great.

Great-looking figure, Andreas!

Is the Live-Resin figure actually ACU or Multicam uniform, or does it really matter?

I didn't know it exactly. I only had ACU Decals and so I use this camo.
All the gear is issued with ACU, and the only pictures that I have seen with the Predator Face Protection show soldiers in ACU so I think ACU is ok.

@henk: The Crossdelta Decals are very thin and soft and work perfectly with micro sol, so you didn't need much softener. You can't compare them with the Alliance Modelwork Camo-Decals.

Hope that Yaroslav's upcoming Decals have the same quality.

Looks really great, Yaroslav! Are you really going to do a 1:1 scale replica of certain weapons?

No, this isn't what Yaroslav wants to say. He uses CAD process to build a digital model in real scale (1/1) so the digital object is identical to the real object.
