Hell yea! Both are on our projects list. Just missing the Barrel length on the M-67 and a few more details on the Zippo interior.
According to Military Standard 53080 (MO) and 53081 (MO) (for the M67A1 and M67A2) respectively, the barrel extends 160.5 inches from the turret center.
Thank you Joe, that will help out alot!

"...Is anyone here interested in Resin 1/35th Scale upgrades, accessories and correction parts for M-48 Tanks and M-113 APC's?..." Howdy,
A few years back, when I was much more involved in and with the site and all the WONDERFUL people here I was scratching up one of these...
And I don't mind saying, I was doing a bang up job of it too...until those efforts were 'lost'.
Anyways, I don't suppose you have any of the more unusual M113 'variants' in mind?...or, do you intend to follow the more predictable, well-trodden path of "upgrades'?
Just curious. Best of luck with your new venture either way pard'

We have looked into the well-trodden path and found that there are still quite a few things missing or those that can be improved upon. Of course dabbling in the unusual can be fun and sometimes catches on!

How about the gun shields for the M113's, M48's and the M551's. That were used in Vietnam. Also when is your Web site going to be up and running.

Tom, were you referring to Maw Deuce shields. If so then yes, there is one included in an upcoming Vietnam Accessories set for the Tammy M-48A3, working on some others for the M-113 to include a Minigun and are considering an involved set for the Sheridan later on. Gotta start somewhere though and the work's all being done by Army Vets.

We're just getting started here, gives us some time and we'll see what happens. Tried to find an M-107 or M-110 kit on Ebay to use as a basis for an M-578. Man, the prices are insane!

This sounds very promising! I might add that if you find a good sculptor some US/NATO vehicle crews and soldiers from the 70's and 80's would be mostly welcome. I'm thinking of figures for use in exercise settings, i.e. minus flak jackets and such. Althought I'm not sure how big the market for such sets is...
Cheers and good luck with your new company,

We're going to keep on chugging away, of course we are always open to new ideas and welcome suggestions. The first M-113 sets are going into molding on Monday and then comes the buildups. Training area Figures? Excellent suggestion, reminds us of the old REFORGER days in Germany. We might just try a set like this sometime in the next few months, just to see what they do.

A 1/35 M-132 would be nice. I would really like to see some marines/army troops at the training camps. I'm wanting to build a replica of a military obstacle course, but can't find any appropriate figures.

We have an M-132 Zippo Turret just about done which is hollow casted. The only problem is getting ahold of detailed interior shots of the fighting compartment and turret. If we're going to do something, might as well do it up right the first time. It's funny, with all the hundreds of available resin figures, you'd think that someone would have Troops in training? As I do have an excellent Sculptor available, it looks like I just might have to invest in that vacuum casting equipment.

For M113's I'd love to see a good proper driver's hatch. Tamiya and Academy both botched it in different ways with the IR periscope plug being the root of it. Academy shows it correct on the inside of that hatch as unmounted but the outside shows the top of the IR periscope as if it were mounted. Tamiya just has the hole. The guard over the IR periscope is no prize on either. The diameter is off on both and they are missing the slight bevel on the top. I've got more nitpicks as well.

Sounds great,
Accurate commander's cupola's and vision blocks come to mind. These need improvement in all available kits.
How about accurate .50 mg mounts?
cheers,

Hi,
Would there be a chance you may do some conversions for the IDF M113 and M109's?
There is very little out there for the IDF M113.

Don't worry Guys, the M-113 is going to get hit hard in the coming months in all ways. We'll basically be rebuilding the Tamiya and (sometimes) the Academy kits from the ground-up. Yes, the IDF will not be forgotten but those will require quite a bit of research to get everything correct. There will be IDF upgrades for the Patton series also in the future and all these things will be at prices that are alot more affordable.
M-109 Accessories and conversions won't be on our listings unless the kit is made available again. Italeri did discontinue these awhile back, didn't they?

Ronnie,
Thanks for taking the time to keep everyone in the loop and for seeking out suggestions. Folks are excited but everyone needs to be patient when waiting for accurate and detailed masters to be completed and them enough copies cast to sell.
Your site looks good....it'll be nice to see things rolling out on September 15th.
Great to see an M1068 being produced. It should provide a good staring point for a Canadian M577A3 with Soucy tracks.

An EAAK (Enhanced Aplique Armour Kit) used by the Kiwis in Bosnia and Timor would be great, as per this photo:

We really appreciate everyone's replies and they will all be taken into consideration. As we are just starting out, feedback from fellow Modelers and prospective Customers is very important. It also helps us to make better judgment calls when it come to new and future releases.
As stated in an earlier post, the M-113 will be hit very hard over the coming months and as far as someone else having similar items, in this area there is always room for more. We've taken note to errors in the Plastic kits and steps are being taken to correct most, if not all, of them. Next to the M-113, the available M-48 and M-60 kits will "come under fire" also.

The first release test castings are being worked on now and we're doing some buildups. They will be ready to order on opening day, the 15th of September.
