Got a good one for my fellow Trackheads. Is anyone here interested in Resin 1/35th Scale upgrades, accessories and correction parts for M-48 Tanks and M-113 APC's? I'm starting a new resin company next month and have an extremely talented person to do my Master Work who's just itching to go to town on this kind of stuff. We'll not only do the US items but Canadian and Austrailian as well.

As in an M-114? Haven't seen one of those Baby's since the early 80's. There was one at Hohenfels Training area in running condition.

Sounds like it will be something interesting..
Do you have any pics of masters... or of any work that your friend, the master maker, has done... just so people could get an idea of what to expect?
Good luck with your venture
Hisham

Well, I guess that that solves the M-114 problem, on to the next. No pics of any Masters as of yet. The guy doing the Masters is really secretive about those things but I know that they will be real knock-outs.
I know that he's working on some Aussie parts for M-113's such as the top hatch Air Filter system, T-50 and a couple other goodies that will be done as a set. Then there are a slew of M-113 corrections for the Tamiya kit and an fully detailed M-113A3 Interior. He's also working out the details of an M-577 conversion for the Academy 113's but with a fully detailed interior. Should be very interesting. We're looking at a release date of 5 September to start releasing some of these sets. M-48A3 upgrades/conversions are also forthcoming.

I have a few Academy M-113's and I'd definitely be interested in the M-577 conversion.
One more question.. will you be selling through your own site? If so, will you be taking Credit Card transactions.. cause we don't have PayPal in Egypt and there are many things I can't buy because of that. Or do you have some distributors for your products?
Anyway, I'll be looking forward to seeing some pics of your products.
Good luck
Hisham

Thank you for your replies so far Guys.
Yes Hisham, we will be able to accept Credit Cards. I have someone working on setting the website all up for that before we start sales in early September.
M-1068? That is another one on the growing list of -113 variants since we will have the -577 already. There is some information missing on it such as in general overhead shots of the APU, Roof and engine deck/driver's hatch. The Smoke generator system is also on that same list but we are missing alot of details on that one. Also an M-132 Zippo with interior, M-106 (Academy Based), and also a Bridgelayer.
We've also been looking into a complete kit of the MTVL.

Hi Ronnie,
sounds good for the start, I will be interested in some of these items.
I recently scratchbuild the M58 Wolf and M1059 Lynx, so I can share my collected materials. I also have a quite well assorted collection of M113 pictures(both Bundeswehr and US). I also have access to a restored M114, M113 and M548.
If you`re interested, drop me a PM.
Best regards
Hans-Hermann

Howdy Rebelsoldier,
rumor goes here in Germany that PSM plans to release the M578 as a full resin kit. But I wouldn`t hold my breath for it.

M-578 you say? Sounds like an interesting project. Getting enough good details and plans/scale drawings on the thing is another story altogether and it would probably be made into a complete resin kit due to the scare nature of Italeri's M-110.
I have discussed deals with my counterpart for those who wish to contribute detail and reference info on new Kit projects. They will consist of exchanges of that info for our merchandise when the project is completed and in production.

Sound like good sets --- will keep my eyes open for updates.
Any chance we'll see an M-67 flame tank conversion and an M-132 zippo track turret and interior?
Regards and Aloha,
Johnny B.

Hell yea! Both are on our projects list. Just missing the Barrel length on the M-67 and a few more details on the Zippo interior.

Some things to think about but finding info on these is like finding a needle in a haystack.

According to Military Standard 53080 (MO) and 53081 (MO) (for the M67A1 and M67A2) respectively, the barrel extends 160.5 inches from the turret center.
