The M-ATV finally got his wheels
I have the Real model and the Blast wheels set (thanks Milo for the set)
I choose the Blast Model set, here with a first paint job :
I understand. I choose wheels without bulged because I found more photos for this version.

Looking good. Do you have a picture of the control unit that is included in the CROWS Set?

Very nice, I like the CROWS set... how does it fit to the model? Blast website says the set has interior control system, did you manage to fit it inside your M-ATV?

Excellent work so far Pascal. Kit looks like a hog but you seemed to have pulled it off nicely.
Blast CROWS looks pretty good as well, would be nice if they add those interior bits to the Humvee CROWS set, as they are sadly lacking.

Pascal - this is exceptional work. I read through the blog - what a struggle ! I was quite disapointed to read about how poor the kit is. However, it is great to see this result being produced - very well done!
cheers

The .50 cal looks a bit droopy, did that come with the Panda kit or the CROW's set?
Regardless, you have done a great job on this kit, I really like the painting / weathering.

Thanks John.
The .50 cal is soming with the CROS kit. And its not the best MG I've seen !!!!
I choose it, as another more realistic MG surely don't fit inside the CROWS mount.

Just checked the retail price for the Kinetic kit on the Stevens International web-site. They are the USA importer and the retail price for this market is $74.95. Also, freight should be taken into consideration as from Asia, it can add $18.00 or more. So the Kinectic kit from Asia will price out at around $68.00 or more. Freight within the USA is much less.
Also, it seems that the Kinectic kit started out with only 3 or 4 sprues, but after the Panda Hobby kit came out, the Kinectic kit went back to the drawing board for more parts to be added. Let's wait until the Kinetic kit is released.
After reading about flash on the build kit, I went to our warehouse and pulled two kits from separate cartons to check them. I didn't see any flash to speak of. It is possible this kit came from early in the production run or was this a test shot? Regarding the fit on Pascal's kit, it seems a little premature to be so hard on the kit after one build. A little filing and sanding had to be done and a couple of plastic rods added, but that is no big deal in modeling. The results of Pascal's efforts speak for themselves.
Last, this is Panda Hobby's first kit. It is most likely that their future releases will improve and continue to improve. Thanks and

Just picked one up myself at the local hobby shop in Anchorage AK. Got mine for $34.95, couldn't beleive the price. I have not started building it yet, but from looking at the parts, I see no flash at all to speak of, it looks good to me and I can't wait to start building it.

Unfortunately I have a TON of flash on mine. Not a big deal but something I would have liked to go without

Okay, finally took my sprues out of the plastic and checked again. All my sprues except for "E" have have no flash, very clear and crisp moldings. E sprue is a train wreck of flash and crappy molding. I wonder of they have more than one mold and one of them is not sealing properly or some strange thing like that?? All in all I am happy with it, so far, I'll update when I start building.

Pascal;
Great build! I just picked up one of these this past weekend, and had I been paying attention I might not have. But you have made a great model. Any chance of seeing a review or even better an assessment of what needs to be done to this kit to make it as good as you have and where the problem areas are and how to fix? Thanks again for posting I will be looking to this for reference. Cheers.

I beg to differ there Ken...
Panda released a few kits back about 2004. They did a 1/35 Huey and 1/48 F-35 as far as I remember? At that time they also released a catalogue, which promised a 1/32 B-17!!
I've just won one of these MRAP kits on Ebay, and look forward to building it. Just think how monotonous it would be if EVERY kit on the market was a Shake and Bake!!
Regards
Nigel
