Alan L -I noticed you took full advantage completing multiple projects for our campaign..too bad I can't award ya another ribbon ~or a gold star..

Rolling Thunder..still time to finish up!

Dragon 164- the M1 is coming along well, hope to see the finish pics in time!

Thanks again to everyone for participating~

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the campaign. The Get em Done campaign is always a good motivator for getting things finished off of altered.

Lots of great builds in this one and my final contribution would be the Bronco 25 pdr that just squeezes in I think.

Cheers and look forward to the next one.

I still think I'll finish tonight. Letting some more gloss coat dry on there real quick then I'll get a couple tools painted, the washes on, dull coat, pigment and done

Thanks Greg for the words of encouragement! The screens were indeed pretty fiddly bits and I've been leery of messing with them. Once my nerves calm down, I'll give your suggestion a shot.

Great work all of you, thanks again for the inspiration.

Jeff T- sounds like I'll need to plan another proposal later this year..your stocking up!

Greg- I updated your ribbon..thanks for your participation! your build looks great. I'm usually into modern builds, but WW2 seems a great time for future builds

I think we still have an unofficial week left..so there's still time to get r done!

Getting close to the finish!
I am just about to put a flat coat on, I took enough photos for the gallery in case everything goes pear shaped.

Cheers Rob.

Jeff, Greg, Thanks!

The flat coat came out fine so a little more weathering and she'll be done.

Cheers Rob.

I was planning on doing more weathering and adding some dust but rather than take a chance at this point I will wait till I have had a chance to test that out first.

So all I did was add some antennas and I'm calling it done.

On the antennas I grabbed some fine wire (beading wire) and looked for something to wrap it around decided on a pin and grabbed a T pin, this worked great as instead of wrapping the wire around the pin I could just turn the pin by the T and get a nice tight spring it was so easy I did the whole length of the pin. I included some pics but they are a bit blurry.

Cheers Rob.
