Thanks Gary, can’t wait to see your build start, I know that you do one hell of a paint job on your models.

Well I got all of the lower hull done last night and have the wheels glued in place. Some of the parts for the upper hull have been glued down. Debating whether or not to have a driver, since I can’t glue the two halves together yet. I’m also still waiting on my recoilless rifle to show up in the mail to strap to the engine deck.

Great kit Christopher.. I'm looking to get one of those too.
Good luck !

Gary, come on where's that Puma ??

I worked on my Panther's this afternoon too, I want to finish them and also starting my builds for this Campaign.

mmhh... After another go at the Magic Tracks, I did it.
Started on the Skif BMP-3 and also started the 223...

Here goes:

And the BMP-3

And

Why didn't I wait a few months to get the Trumpeter's versions...

Hey just a heads up for everyone, if your thinking about buying trumpeter’s PT-76 workable tracks, DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

The kit is junk and not worth the time. Don’t get me wrong, the details are awesome and include separate guide horns, but the pins are way to short and each link will not stay together. I’m either going to use the kit’s vynle tracks or just glue each track together. I spent $25 on the set and should just added another 10 to get the fruilmodel set instead.

Hi All, a quick pic of my kit (although I won't start it officially start it till I have finished my Landy!)

My academy Kifv (South Korean IFV or K200) with crew and a set of eduard photo etch, although I might only use the engine grilles, and I may skip the interior(or maybe not)

For the most part going to be building out of the box, i know there are some errors (turret) but i'm just going to enjoy the build.
Here's my progress so far.

Hey John!!! I finally got some modeling done! I have to say i really over estimated the difficulty of the suspension. I was intimidated at first, but it went together quite nicely. Heres what ive done so far.

More tomorrow!

Would like to submit my entry for this build.

I am assuming it meets the criteria for the campaign. Also, if any campaign members down under have any photos to share, particularly of the interior that would be awesome..

Here is a small update. I think I’m just go to just use the vinyl tracks that come in the kit and save the (non)workable set for another build. I’ve also added some of the smaller parts to the hull and should be able to start painting this weekend. I did get in the mail yesterday my recoilless rifle and a quick test fitting on the hull.

Hey Jeff, thanks budy for the comments. There not really alot of parts, the kit is pretty much a shake and bake. Both the PT-76 and BTR-50 don't have much to them other than basic boxes on tracks. One reason why I chose to build this first, quick fun build.

I like the PT-76, and I must admit I too like the BMP-1, so... I hope to get one of the two sometime soon.

That and the ASU-85 which is so sweet.

Keep up the good work as I shall return to the workbench soon!

I skipped the step for the wheels. I will be using a sagged set from pro art

In step 9 part A20 should be C20

Well hate to say it but off to work i go

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend

Sorry guys if I'm kicking your butts Like I said not that many parts in the kit and rather simple build, until I begin painting is where things slow down for me. Besides, I'm usually up till like 2 or 3 in the morning waiting for my wife to get home from work. Don't really watch much TV, so I'm either building or on the computer.

Some rather great stuff going on here, the KIFV, Grizzly, and Bushmaster I would love to add to my stash of kit. Keep em coming guys.

I'm very surprised at this because Gary is usually finished by now.

Jeff, I guess Gary isn't happy with the competition... you see he's going to finish his Dragon kit in no time. We're lucky it's a Drgon kit he'll mess the instruction sheet for sure.
From now on Gary will pick Trumpeter or Tamyia kits only!
