Same here (being second isn't too bad either) but glad I was accepted to use my T19. It's really a super detailed kit and it should be fun. I need to back off on the campaigns 'till after this one is finished though.

Ok, I'm in at #4, with my Tamiya Rad 8 for now, this thing has been in the stash for a while and I keep finding reasons not to build it So unless I get something different it will get built here

I'm going to try to be in with a Stryker from the stash. I'm a lot slower than I used to be, but I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things soon.

John, I like the top Banner the best, and I know its hard to get much detail on the ribbons but if you are going to put initials on the ribbon it should have both APC and AFV. Just mu $.02

I know Sal, that's why I got APC/AFV on 2 of the awards, but it's hard to get that much detail on 50x20 pixels...
I left one with no text and another one with just APC.

Glad you liked the banners.

Do you know what you will pick for this Campaign ?

Hi there,
this sounds good with lots of possibilities.
Would an SAS Jeep or LRDG Chevy also count?
They did carry troops around.

Despite my recent appalling record with campaigns, I've signed up in the hope that I can get into this one without RealLife getting in the way...

I'm leaning towards scratch-building the grand-daddy of all APCs - the Mk IX from 1918! Not only was it the first true APC designed as such, but it was also the first amphibious APC. Granted, that was with doors sealed and flotation barrels attached to the sides, but it was "proof of concept" way before the M113 was even a twinkle in the designer's eye!

Now all I need is lots of Q-time...

Hi Paul,
I would consider those choices for a Recon Campaign for sure, but for the APC /AFV... maybe the Chevy (if you don't have anything in stash), since it could have been used for carrying troops as a secondary role, they are soft-skins with weapons..

Hi John,
ok argument acccepted.
It will have to be a Bren Carrier, if I can find some decent tracks for it and I don't mean those resin parts
from Resicast.
Does anybody have any ideas on this problem?

Hey John, as far as banners go I would favor the Soviet Car ... what, is that a BTR-70 or 80?
