Finished the fenders & headlights.. but when everything was doing well, I got up to see something and I didn't noticed that one of the fenders(right front) fell on the floor, when I got back to the bench I stepped on it breaking a few parts.
Damn. Fortunatly the BlackDog stowage will cover most of the fender I hope ..

Decals are set.

Here's the base coat for the stowage.

2 small problems:

The BlackDog stowage set is for the 222 & 223 but the big stowage chunk has 2 small tarps raised because of the 2 Jerrycans on the sides that don't exist on the 223... so I'll have to find ...more stowage.

The other thing is the front rack of Jerrycans, some of the handles for the Jerrycans were broken.
I'll have to scratch them...

Great builds going on by all.

@yufkeyto- Your M1117 looks great.

@muhammad- loving your build.

I finished my Puma, I am not a purist so the paint jobs not correct.
I really enjoyed building this one it went together real nice.

I will continue to watch everyone's builds with much interest:)

Hi guys

Thanks for the compliments
@Gary(jediwookie) - love the pattern on the Puma, and the light weathering effect is perfect
@John(Nito74) - considering a few problems, with your skills, I'm sure you can produce something spectacular. Looking forward to see more

Keep up all the good work guys

I did some chipping and a light wash on the 223.
Also worked on the stowage.

Sorry my camera ran out of batteries.. so pics only during the weekend.

I hope to finnish the antenna and start placing the stowage.

Thanks Gary !!

Just took these before getting back to the bench

Some light wash & chipping.
The right front fender is damaged because I stepped over it a few days ago, I managed to fix it but it's still not right..
Still a lot to work on...

Now the stowage.. half painted so far.

Stay tuned !!

That's it for today, worked on some more details on the 223, add some chipping on some fenders, also start working on the jack and the frame antenna.

Some pics of the jerrycan stowage provided by BlackDog, and this is how I'm thinking of fixing the handles:

Then I added some filters to the rest of the stowage, but I still need to paint some more details, add a light wash to all of them, maybe some brown filters, drybrush, highlighting & dust.

Sorry about the dark pics, I try to take photos with natural lighting.. anyway some progress today:

Added some rust and left on of these wheel pieces in primer.

Jerrycan handles fixed

Then I started working on the stowage, after some filters & washes..

I also added a Verlinden rug to fix the space between the "ghost jerrycan" and the back stowage.
I dusted the stowage a little creating some highlights and contrast between the dark washed recess, but I'll post some pics tomorrow the photos are getting too dark.

@ John, cool build mate, the way that´s coming along you must have taken my advice and stopped listening to Heavy
Metal during the building hours .

@ Rafuleitan, lovely weathering on that striker. What exactly did you use?

@ Muhammad, also excellent weathering, you´ve hit the Vietnam red dirt perfectly.

@ Jose, coming along nicely dude. I like to see a slow build, reminds me of me really.

@ Gary A, lovely Puma and the inofficial camo looks great.

Keep it up fellows, looking real good all over.

You're right Paul.
No more guitar riffs during bench time..

Here's some better pics.

Meanwhile, I've been working on the antenna frame & jerrycan set, and have to finish the jack too...
