No problem!! The more the merrier!!
So this will be:
Large Scale Armor Build Campaign
SCALE: 1:24 To 1:6
1) Aircraft projects entered can be from 1:32 to 1:6
2) Armor projects MUST be from 1:24 to 1:6
3) Can be started OR from an initial conversion kit OR can be scratch built.
4) You should also display a picture of any after market items being used in your build and post progress pictures too.
5) An image of your final build must be uploaded into the Large Scale Armor Campaign photo gallery.
6) Remember ... the overriding rule governing THIS campaign is to have fun!
How about allowing REAL TANKS/VEHICLES AND PLANES?!!

Phil? Where are you man?

No sweat,just wonderen'.
Here's my next question,Can you give me some U.S. vendors that carry the larger scale stuff?I can get the Centurion fairly cheap, like 80 bucks plus shipping, but would like to see what else is out there. Thanks, Jeff T.

If I were to want one, I would look on eBay for a domestic seller OR Google it.
This is all I came up with (and I have not bought from them) for that price:

Sorry I couldn't have been more help.

Jeff,
Don't know if you noticed my earlier post but if you're interested I'm willing to part with my 1/25 Panther.

Hey guys with my entry for the 1/25 chieftan
which tamiya.also did a remote.control version of
i have just the static version and while going through box contents earlier today while the.glue settled on my 1/72 chieftan, i found the 1/25 static verson to have alot of metal parts for the suspension
so my question is would it be ok if i made start this week while have time off work on just the metal work suspension? As my brothers dad said he'd help me dont want to mess up the kit or metalwork after.paying so much for it! its the most expensive model ive bought so far lol
Cheers Anthony

Hi Anthony!
No problem as long as it's not 50% finished.
Hey Monte, PM me about the details on the kit and it's condition. I already have one but depending on what we're talking about.

Well, I do hope we hear something soon as to if it's going to be approved or changes need to be made.
With such a large gathering of interests and projects on one Campaign I'd like to see the interest(s) stay high on this, even though the start time is far away.
This will give everyone time to organize things and materials to ensure a good start!

Monte... Yes I did see that you wanted to sell a kit and thanks for the offer. My last 4 builds have been German iron, and I need something different
Jeff S.... That's the one I am looking at :-)-- I order from scalehobbyist a lot. They are great to do business with.I don't have my heart set on the Centurion,it is a good price and (don't take this the wrong way) not German.I guess what I'm asking is,where do you boys get your larger scale kits?Jeff T.

Jeff T,
No problem, just wanted to offer it up. With the exception of my T-34 and Jagdpanther, all my large kits were bought from a new hobby shop that opened up near me years ago. The hobby shop bought the kits from an estate so it was a lucky one time deal when I got them.
$80 for the Centurion is about right, I've seen that price around. Here's a link to a Artistic Hobbies that have what's currently available out there. The prices are pretty good.

NO FAIR,NO FAIR My PC is old and slow
.I thought I could at least be in the top 4.I guess it really makes no difference as long as I'm in
After more looking at Tamiyas Centurion kit # 330614,I think I will stay with that. All those interior parts look like fun. A billion parts,a good price, figures, how can you go wrong? Jeff T.
Geez,I just thought of something, don't we need a ribbon, or a banner,or something?
