Sal, sorry to hear about the issues you had with your airbrush, (been there.... ), it's quite irritating to say the least. Yet it seems you have done a very good job! Waiting to see the dunkelgelb on it.
Here is a pic of my LEO unstarted, i have a few days ahead to my self, so tomorrow it begins.

Well,
After doing a bit of research I found that only one of these Tigers made it into combat and that one had Zimmerit, I don't want to do my own Zimmerit just yet so instead I am going to build this.
Cheers Rob.

Nice progress on that Tiger !

Starting with the Leo, is it going to be a Greek Leo ? is it a 2-tone Camo or Nato Camo ?

Here are some photos of the start of my JagdPanther. Brief background it is the old GS kit which Dragon purchased and turned everything into plastic. I finally got the road wheels painted and installed, lower hull with primary colour. Thought that the duration of getting the road wheels painted was quite too long. Used a wash to pick out the details and some light dry brushing to start with.Starting to get some details on the upper hull. So far I have just used some Tiger Models cast exhausts.Using the A.J.Press book on the Jagd panther, quite useful. On a side note, they are going out of business so if you like their products.

No, no interior, left the turret hatches open and will use at least 1 figure there
Now that my airbrush is running smooth I got the dunkelgelb on
Now to work on the inside of the treads and tool

Hi Sal, bad news on the decals, how soon do you need them?
I can order them tonight and get them in the post to you possibly next week?
Let me know if I can help.

Hi people. I see thinks are progressing in this campaign too.
Paul, nice start. It's the first one i get to see being built!
John, i'm going to build a Greek one. I like the German camo very much, but i'll do it on an Italeri kit i have in the stash, someday... I managed to build most of my LEO, i still have to scratchbuild the gunner's sights. The kit gives only the option of closed sights. At this point i would like to say that i'm disappointed with the kit. Maybe i'm just unlucky and got a bad one. Too much flash and deformed mating surfaces almost everywhere. I should also note the nasty ejector pins that are practically everywhere! I haven't used so much putty since an old 1/32nd kit from the 70s. Plus the clear parts are all wrong in shape and size. Sorry for the nagging but wanted to check if others had similar problems with this kit. Here are two pics.

Everyone seems to moving along pretty good with their builds despite the holidays (I have an excuse every season for my slow progress). So I think I'm going for just a green over yellow camo. I'll probably go freehand with the airbrush after a few practice runs

Howdy Y'all:
Thought I better post a photo before I got too far along with this build. This is a sweet kit and I'd recommend it for anyone who builds braile scale.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"
