Hello Jeff,
I´ve put my foot in it again eh.
Well I apologise, all I wanted to do was remind you of your decision with proof, and most certainly not make anyone look bad, you least of all.
Hello Christopher,
hope you can pull it off, I dropped it because I wasn´t
prepared to pay out for this lot:
Italeri M4A1 for the engine deck and lower hull + running gear,
Tamiya M4 105 for the welded hull with 45° glacis.
Dragon or whoever for the M26 turret.
A set of T62 M4 tracks.

Paul, I'm going for DML's M4 105mm (6548) and HobbyBoss's M26 (82424); which should be correct for the build right?
Plus Bronco make some indy-link T62 track, or AFV Club have a set of rubber band T62's.
What cheek! Let them have it!

Hi Christopher, I´ve just looked at the Dragon kit and
it looks the part to me, go for it.

Terry, just amazing. Absolutely an amazing build of a very difficult Tasca model. Love the paint and weathering. Good luck at the AMP's show.

A little more work on Honky Tonk. I put the decals on and realized the yellow bands that go around the turret are not included. Yes, I feel like an idiot. I need to figure out plan B.

OK, a day later I masked the turret off with blue painters tape. Mixed up some Tamiya XF-3 Flat Yellow and XF-4 Yellow Green, and crossed my fingers. It's not perfect but it'll do!

Next up, detail painting and weathering!

Guy, nice save. The Yellow stripe came out perfect, same for color match.

Hey Gang!
Can somebody point me in the direction of how to post finished model to the Gallery?
Thanks!

Terry,
Congrats on the gold, your model sure deserves it!
To post just go to the
gallery (make sure you're logged into the network) then click on the "upload photos" link on the upper right. From there click on "choose photo" and it will allow you to pick up pictures from your computer (one photo per "choose photo" link) including adding labels, etc.
Hope this helps!
Michael

That's because your M32B1 is a blinkin work of art Terry, a job very well done indeed.
I find myself falling strangely in love with Honky Tonk, it looks damn fine, such a nice looking beast.

Hi Jeff! Today i will begin to work on my Firefly. Although seeing what has been built till now, i admit i got cold feet! Really excellent job by everyone Gentlemen!! You people really love Sherman tanks, and it shows from the quality way and quantity for some..... that you build them!!!

Hopefully soon i will have an update on mine.
My work.

Man there's some great work here! I'm embarrassed to add my poor effort, but here are some shots of the nearly completed hull of the Tamiya M1 Super Sherman:

I've been a wingy-thingy builder all my life, and like so many of these things I started to take my aircraft builds WAY too seriously. So when I started to get armor kits I decided that I'd only get a few that I was really interested in (oddly that ended up being a pretty large collection of M4s!) and not get a bunch of after-market for them. So, aside from the Tasca running gear (couldn't abide the Tamiya stuff, so much for resolution), this one is pretty much out of the box. I do plan to fix the gap between the fenders and the transmission cover as well as the gap I just noticed on the right rear light brush guard, but that's it. Just trying to have fun with it and going real slow!
